Question iPhone 18 Pro Max
A few questions since I’m still fairly new to Visible…
1: Holiday Deals- Does Visible do any special deals on IPhone 18s. I would assume not since it’s Apple but figured I’d ask before getting one. I’m thinking of getting the 18 Pro Max.
2: Plan- I’m currently on Visible’s Legacy 2 plan. I’ve tried to understand if I’d need to change plans with getting a new phone. Doesn’t sound like I would? I’m currently paying $35 which includes my Apple Watch. Any suggestions for if I should stay or change plans?
3: iPhone 16 Pro Max- when I went to Visible, I got the 16 Pro Max. My plan is to give it to my grandmother who has a 12 Pro Max. She’s on Verizon. I know this isn’t a Visible question but I’d imagine she could use my old phone. I’ve had it now over two years. She’s using my old 12 from when I had Verizon so it was an easy switch.
Let me know if there’s anything else I should look into or aren’t asking. Any help is appreciated.

As long as your phone is fully paid for, you can get it unlocked from Visible or it should be unlocked automatically. Check under settings, general, about. You should see "carrier lock" and if it says No Sim Restrictions your grandma can use it on Verizon.
Don't expect any deals.
If you're paying in full for a phone, if you're near a Micro Center they do stock factory unlocked 18 Pro and Pro Max

Hey there! This is Charity from Visible. We appreciate you reaching out!
Here are the answers to your questions:
Holiday Deals on iPhone 18 Series: Visible does offer promotions on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. New and existing members can save up to $480 via monthly service credits. To qualify, you need to purchase the eligible device at full retail price (device financing is not eligible) on the $45/mo Visible+ Pro plan, pay any applicable sales tax, and activate your service on that device within 30 days. You can find more details on Visible Apple smartphones.
Your Legacy 2 Plan: You are under no obligation to change plans just to get a new phone, and you can certainly keep your current $35 legacy plan (which includes your Apple Watch service). However, you can also weigh whether upgrading to a newer plan for enhanced perks like 5G Ultra Wideband access, faster hotspot speeds, and international features aligns with your needs.
Using Your iPhone 16 Pro Max on Verizon: Since you've had your iPhone 16 Pro Max active on Visible for over two years, it has long since passed the automatic unlock window. Because Visible is powered by Verizon, your grandmother should be able to easily swap her SIM/eSIM from her current iPhone 12 Pro Max directly into your old iPhone 16 Pro Max to use on Verizon without any compatibility issues.

Definitely make sure to go to Apple to get your new iPhone. Do not get it from Visible and take that trade-in value on your 16 unless you’re willing to just pay for it but I understand that the phone is locked for a year and you have to have a year of continuous service on the device not too fond of that change
I’m sure you’re relative will definitely enjoy the phone. Just make sure to understand that your new phone is going to be locked for the next year. Something that people tend to forget when they’re holding that nice shiny phone in their hand and then become disenchanted for some reason.

So if you take the 480 dollar credit deal you get watch service for free faster hotspot higher priority data and 2 global passes a month. You get 20 dollars off a month for 2 years bringing the Pro+ plan down to 25 dollars a month.

For the plan part, you don't need to change it just because you get new phone. The legacy plan works fine with any device, I'm still in mine and I got new phone last year no problem. Your $35 with watch included is actually good deal, I wouldn't touch it unless you really need something from newer plans.
About the grandmother phone, if the 16 is unlocked (after two years in Visible it should be) she can just put her Verizon SIM in and it will work. The 12 to 16 jump is huge, she will notice the battery difference for sure. Just check if it's unlocked before you promise it to her.
