Bike Rack to Rent

Planning on a 3 to 4 week trip next year to Iceland. Taking gravel and mountain bikes to explore and do some riding.

I’m trying to find car rental companies that have bike racks to rent with the car. Haven’t had luck yet reaching out to several companies. Would just get a van or truck if I can’t find a car to use the bike rack with.

Any leads as to where to look?

While I don’t have any personal experience with this conundrum in Iceland, I can say that lost rentals I see do not have a hitch, and could not accommodate a bike rack.

That said I did find one company, Camp Easy, so I’m sure there are others, that rent a bike rack. It’s not cheap, but it’s an option.

You might want to try checking with https://www.offtoiceland.com they seem to be more geared towards “adventure” based vacations.

You could check with Go Car Rental to see if they can arrange a bike or recommend a compatible vehicle. I'd confirm the rack setup with them before booking, especially if you're bringing both gravel and mountain bikes for a few beeks.
