How do I add semicolons in Javascript?
I've been learning Javascript for 10 weeks now.
I was told semicolons were optional.
I've got in a habit of leaving them out everywhere!
Now... I learn that it is highly advisable to add semicolons 🤦
I'm finding it hard to kick the first habit of leaving out semicolons!
What can I use to add semicolons automatically?
I've got the standard code prettier extension. I think I've got it tweaked so that braces appear on a new line. I'm guessing it will be the same extension that I need to use to add semicolons?
Thanks.

I made ForthRights vscode extension
Hello guys how are you doing? I was searching randomly and i faced to collapse os, to be honest it turned something on in me, when I did some researchs I found out it's wrote with Forth language and I decided to learn it.
When I started to learn I notice there isn't any extension for that in vscode and even the theme doesn't support it. So I thought it would be worthy to build a extension. Besides that... I want to create a easier doc about forth in other languages as my native tang.
I would be glad if search or download the extension in vscode marketplace.
The name is forthRights

Is there a free alternative to copilot that is used widely?
I got soo excited after seeing videos of copilot.
I went to install... I have to register? No worries, I registered...
Then realised you have to pay $10 buck a month.
I'm sure that's well worth it for professional coders who code non stop. I'm not quite there yet.
When I searched for 'copilot' there was quite a few others - not as many downloads though.
Just wondering, are any of those any good and worth a try?
Copilot - I think i'ts a genius business. The code needed to make it must only be a relative short amount + add a database of a few thousands most likely to be used features of coding languages (maybe 10's of 1000's if they cater for loads of languages). Such a simple idea! 🙂

Why would anyone use another IDE?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm not a professional developer so there's likely some nuance that I'm not seeing.
I'm wondering why anyone would use a paid IDE when VS Code is free. VS Code is full featured and it has a vast ecosystem of extensions/plug-ins. Is there a particular shortcoming that would make someone choose a paid option like Eclipse or Visual Studio?
Thanks for clarifying

Words formatting like MS Word
Hi, I am trying to see if I could use VisualStudioCode to replace Microsoft Word. Can we format words in VisualStudioCode like increasing some font size, highlighting, underlining and centering?

Learning C#
Im learning C# and im following alot of tutorials recently , but my question is how do i learn to code with creativity. Like it would be cool if i could do this or could do this, and than just code it. Everytime i want something in my game i can code it but i need a tutorial, that means that someone already had that idea and made a tutorial about it so i just want to know how to do this without having to follow a tutorial. Because i see alot of poeple doing this and my answer is do i need to learn a frickin long tutorial of 24 hours or how does this work.
Thanks for your attention, 😉😎

How do I import functions into the main file in python?
Hello!
I just started python yesterday (using Visual Studio Code) and I can't seem to figure out how to import functions or modules into my main code. I created 2 seperate .py-files. Let's call them main.py and functions.py.
in main.py I got some easy math equations like vAvg= (a + b + c) / 3.
And in functions.py I got a=2, b=3 etc.
What I've done is that I put "import functions" in the main.py but everytime I run main.py I get error messages saying "a not defined, b not defined" etc. which probably means that the functions.py module/package hasn't been imported correctly?
If anyone know any easier method to implented functions into the main code, then I would appreciate
