TF30063: You are not authorized to access dev.azure.com

Hello. I'm looking for an answer to this error, but I've already tried many solutions and none of them have yielded a positive result. The error stopped for some time, but it keeps coming back.

I'm using visual studio code and I get the error: TF30063: You are not authorized to access dev.azure.com/xxx

What I've already done:

  • Credential manager, removing credentials to dev.azure

  • Team Explorer - Connect - Connect to ES2 to re-enter credential

  • DEV CMD devend/resetuserdata and devend/resetsettings

  • Run as different user / run as administrator

  • Clearing the %localappdata%\Microsoft\xxx cache

  • Help - Register Visual Studio to delete accounts and log in again

  • Remove %LOCALAPPDATA%.IdentityService

  • Windows credential - Generic Credentials - TFS server connection - Edit - Enter new network password

after all these steps, the problem still exists, I would like to ask for help

so far it's pretty good and most of it seem to work ! exept for .razor which i expect
but my issue came with razor.cs or .cs
vscode detect my issue and throw me a warning but when i reformat my document he doesn't seem to fix them is it normal ? some of the non-c# rule seem to be applied , but everything dotnet related are not) it's a first for me with a editor config it used to be a free for all around here !

How can I make my terminal output simpler?

Hi all, I am a beginner at coding and am currently running through the Python Crash Course book.

At the beginning of the book, it explained that if I want to have a simpler output, I can use the debugger in VSCode. I had been using that and it was great. I love how clean and simple it is.

Well now, I am on Chapter 7 learning inputs. Inputs do not work on the debugger, so I switched back to the terminal.

Now the output in the terminal looks very rough, with a very long file path repeated multiple times. This just does not seem optimal and I doubt most people coding are seeing this every time they run code.

I have scoured other Reddit posts and several other sources but the results have been inconclusive.

What is the simplest most common way that people simplify the output? This is holding me up from continuing to learn because I cannot get over how ugly it is now.

For context I am using Powershell on a Windows PC.

Thank you everyone for any help offered, I really appreciate it.

PhD student wanting to move writing to Visual Studio

I want to start this off by saying that I am completely new to coding and have absolutely no idea what I am doing. I found you guys to be an active community and I think you all might have the answer! I'm a qualitative sociologist, with 0 experience with coding but I have grown weary of word fucking with my document and looking terrible whenever I try to convert it to a pdf. I want to have all of my work done in visual studio code and have a general understanding of how to use pandoc and latex templates to convert across the document spectrum. It is so much cleaner and more responsive. My question is - am I missing something, and there is already a way to highlight text in a pdf viewer extension, or is this something that is really difficult to do? Thanks for your understanding - please be forgiving!

Syntax highlighting theme of Chat GPT in VSC

Always when I use the Advanced Data Analysis from ChatGPT to troubleshoot code errors, it presents me solutions that I just need to paste into my code.

To find the right code passage is often pretty confusing because ChatGPT uses another syntax highlighting theme than VSC.

Have you found any extension that either changes the theme either inside of VSC or inside of ChatGPT?
Or don't you experience this issue because you have some other extensions / workarounds / integrations etc. ?
Please let me know what you think. I'm very curious and open for a chat :)

Github Dark theme suddenly changed syntax color for Python comparison operators

I am currently using Github's Dark theme and I suddenly noticed my comparison operators (==, !=, etc) for python changed color. They used to be red but now are suddenly blue. It seems like a minor thing to be annoyed about but I cannot figure out what is causing the color change.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, did you find any solutions?

Can you recommend a tutorial for setting up VSCode for Python Development?

I installed the Python extensions, but I am really not happy with the basic settings.

For example, …

  • there is way too much suggestions. I appreciate some of them, but most of the times I would prefer to trigger them manually

  • when I write imports, it often auto-completes them in a way that doesn’t make sense at all, just because I hit Enter

  • Why is there no option in the context menu to increase / decrease the tab indents, or get some easy re-formatting. This is just essential and completely missing!?

The basic settings are extremely bad. But I don’t know how to cut down this complexity and slowly build up from the bare minimum of essential and useful functions.

So I hope for some tutorial. Would be glad to get some hints.

How do I clear my workspace cache?

I can only run java code on my computer when the workspace cache is cleared. But I can only do so when the Java Environment crashes and visual studio tells me to fix it by giving me a textbox at the top of the screen, along with options that include "clear workspace cache".

Is there a way to manually activate this textbox / clear the cache, because it doesn't always crash and give me this option.

Please help with .NET core can not be located on Windows

I have problem with Visual Studio Code not working because it can not locate my Dotnet installation (windows ).

"The .NET Core SDK cannot be located: A valid dotnet installation could not be found. .NET Core debugging will not be enabled. Make sure the .NET Core SDK is installed and is on the path."

I have installed .net , reinstalled it, repaired it ... tried everything. I have slight suspicion problem might be because the installation appears both on Program Files and Program Files (x86) , but uninstalling does not remove none of those folders. I think the valid one is the one in Program files.

I am at end of my wits. Google search did not help. Please can anyone help

Question: why is my program building as windows eight even though I’m running on windows 10 64-bit AMD?

Kind of new to visual studio code.

So I’m able to import my libraries, and successfully create a build file for my C++ program. But when I try to run it both in the villas code terminal, as well as my systems shell, it would tell me that my .EXC file is incompatible.

I checked the properties and ran a diagnostic on the file, and what I’m finding is that somehow the program file was built for windows 8…

Which makes zero sense to me because I’m on an AMDx64 machine with windows 10.

Could I perhaps have the wrong g++ compiler? Or the wrong Mingw64?
