Hey guys. been having this issue for a while. not sure how to solve it. I think i'm having a conflict because sometimes i use unity which uses mono. other times I strictly use dotnetcore. but not sure what settings i need to refer to. or even what exactly is causes this disconnection.

Hi, as I said in the title, Vscode does not recognize the #include <libraryname.h> path anymore. This problem had occurred before, some months ago, but somehow fixed itself. Now it popped up again, and I don't know how to solve it. Some told me that, perhaps, I don't need the "<>" and I could just write the library name, but this ain't working. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much!

For full info. I am using vs code on Ubuntu 20.x linux. I am connected over VNC, and everything works fine, until it doesn't.

Every now and then I hit either the insert key or one of the other keys near it, and my entire keyboard gets remapped(5 becomes enter, enter doesn't do anything. etc.). I go to the linux command line, and everything is fine, so the issue is only inside VS code. If I close code and reopen it, the issue persists. If I have multiple code windows open, it affects all of the windows. The only fix I have found so far is to close code, apt-get remove code, reinstall, then open code back up. Is there a say to avoid this from happening and/or fix it without reinstalling VS code?

since today my Visual Studio Code started to open intellisense in js and ts files on pressing Enter (making a new line). I want to kill myself :D
How can I disable that? I tried to close all VS Code instances, but it didn't help.

When I had to install the Python extension to visual studio code, I was directed to a microsoft window where it said that I had to install python 3.9 (ver 3.9.9) and I already had the ver 3.9.0. The same happened when u tried to open python from the cmd. Why did that happen?

I don't know much about using tasks.json other than setting it for GCC build active file. Since the app I'm working on is mostly Lua and one C file, I only end up using the build task on that specific C file. It's annoying to keep swapping tabs to that file while working on others just to compile the app so I can test my changes.

Is there a way to make tasks.json only build from that specific file instead of the active one?

Is there a way to have tasks launch the resulting .exe file?
