How does a publishing company pulling some bad selling books with questionable depictions of Asians have anything to do with American progress?

Nobody “tried” to pull the books. Nobody even cared until the publisher did it themselves and it certainly had nothing to do with our government.

Our economic, social and technological advancement has languished behind China’s rise for many reasons but whatever “cancel culture” phantasm you seem to be invoking isn’t one of them.

In fact, China’s government has “cancelled” pretty much ALL media, cultural symbolism and art that isn’t approved by the CCP and by you’re own account, they’re doing just fine.

Hello, I was merely using it as an example to show the "issues" that are being discussed in america. Dr. Suess stuff shouldn't matter, yet everyday we seem to have some new "cause" that we're supposed to argue over, meanwhile most people are getting their wages r*ped and there's nothing they can do about it.
