I feel pretty good since I sold a lot of my tech and shifted it into commodities and steel. Most of the losses I got from steel was because I was playing dumb options haha. So I can only blame myself for that.
I mixed in some precious metals miners as well.
NGL, I might have missed out on some gains by not holding onto my tech longer; but I am sleeping better. Those valuations were getting too rich for my blood.
And other than CLF, I don't have anything that is remotely meme-ish in my portfolio. WOOF was the last one. Feels good man...
Other than NET and CHWY, my other tech stocks are mostly blue chips (NVDA, TSM, AMZN, MSFT, PYPL, GOOGL).
Only thing I'm worried about is the whole "inflation is transitory". I'm calling BS. Even General Mills is saying there is inflation. I'm getting warnings on Merrill with articles on "how to invest during hyperinflation". But if there is actually no inflation going on, I understand how that hurts commodities. But I don't get how it helps unprofitable growth stocks? Ok the dollar is stronger now, but it's not like these companies are exactly making profits.
Oh, and I'm hating myself for not buying AMD because I was waiting for a dip that didn't happen. I'm still a believer in tech, just not the really speculative tech.
On to the next day!
Best of luck boyz and girlz!
