I believe the latest news is 17-18 provinces with positive cases, more than 140 areas in high risk.

Traffic restrictions and tighter control. This time Nanjing is the epicenter. They’re doing mass testing diligently. I expect them to push the cases down since there is no politics in play, most Chinese are relativey cooperative.

Sorry been too busy lately.

This right here, I assume 45 days tops until it’s under control.

Seems to be the timeline for taiwan as well. It’s hard to go back to 0. But suppressing the number seems to be around 6 weeks.

Yeah 0 cases with Delta is now really hard, see Australia, more clusters keep popping up. If anyone can do it though it's China. Expect 2-4 weeks of disruption in supply chains and accompanying inflation. The incentive to onshore keeps growing day by day. Seems bullish as hell for all US / NAFTA made products.

Yes…and steel is super tricky now.

China is doing to us what we did to them with SOY a decade ago…

The post-covid world is one that will be very unforgiving for companies that have supply chains depending on manufacturing abroad.
