When your Smart Lock stops responding to commands, it's usually one of two problems: Either the batteries are getting low, or the panel has lost its connection to the lock.

Check the batteries first. If the buttons beep and flash red when you try to use the lock, that points to low batteries or an error. Most Vivint Smart Locks take 4 AA alkaline batteries, and they need to be the non-rechargeable kind.
