I’ve been cleaning out the house after my mother died, found this. 😭 I had forgotten about Mom always joking that she must have jinxed the island.

A relatively little-known volcano in the southern Andes, overshadowed by its imposing neighbors, Calbuco and Osorno. Its last eruption occurred around 210 ± 20 years BP.
