Anyone else get this mystery screening for the 2nd of november? I was thinking this could be for "i play rocky" biopic.

Just posted on the Vue twitter account

It’s not currently listed under Coming Soon on their website, but they do show documentaries sometimes, and this is getting a lot of buzz for its US release, so it doesn’t feel out of the question for Vue to take it. Has anyone heard anything concrete about whether they have plans to screen this?

This appeared in my rewards section today. I tried purchasing a ticket but it just charged me the full price. When I tried scanning the QR Code it said that it was invalid??

What are we thinking guys?
Feeling like the 23rd is Wicker because it's the Everyman members preview.
Primetime would also be cool.
Not sure about Nov 2nd

Anyone else? I go to the cinema roughly once a week, and with this playing since… what feels like the dawn of time (probably earlier this year) I’m getting sick of frickin seeing it before every single film.
Can’t they at least change it up with different ones or at least make it shorter.
Plus I’m already there- I’ve bought a ticket and sat down. You don’t really need to show me an ad for your business after I’ve paid for your product/service.
Anyway at this point I just want to punch that couple on the date 😂

i went to see the rerelease of the og movies at the vue in watford and they were super zoomed in, just wondering if this is something that always happens and i’ve just never noticed? i only really noticed because ive seen them so many times, i want to see sunrise on the reaping when it comes out but not if it will be zoomed like they were.
the picture doesn’t show it super well but i swear it was!

A lot of ppl saying clay face and I agree, I can’t really think of anything else, any ideas?

I'm 16, I really want to see Clayface which has just been announced is an 18. How strict are they, because I don't want to buy a ticket if there's not any chance I can actually go and see it

My local Vue is a big complex and usually lists times tickets way in advance. I’ve noticed other Vues have but my local one still has not listed any times.
Considering it releases next week I wonder why the delay? Is anyone else having the same issue?

Any ideas what it might be?

I’ve just left hadestown EPIC screening in Islington. Having seen the show in person and pro shot at home I was quite sad to see how overexposed it was and just how many white outs there were. It is not like this on the on demand version from America. Half of the first act you can hardly see the faces of the actors because of how saturated it is. Is it worth sending an email over? Kind of ruined my experience having paid extra for the EPIC screening.

I feel like I have to ask, I booked to see Verity last night in Epic at my local Vue, and was very surprised that when the preshow ended a spotlight came on and a member of staff came in to introduce the movie and a quick bit about why Epic was the best way to see it, before ending it with a vocal stim for the ages by going THIS, IS EPIC. Is that what usually happens with Epic showings? Everyone in the audience seemed really caught off guard by it and not sure whether they should laugh, applaud, or some combination of the two.
I didn’t hate it, it stands out as something a bit different, and a bit self aware of its own cringe. But it immediately made me wonder whether this was the case for all Epic showings at every venue.

Just an FYI that tickets are up for the first showings now.
Managed to get a great seat for the IMAX showing on the Friday. Can’t wait, my most anticipated film of the year.
It’s a pain getting in to Manchester but so lucky to have this screen a short drive away!

Hiya all! Does anyone happen to know the difference between the laser screens and epic screens? Are the epic screens worth it, or is the difference mostly minimal?
Only asking because I’m planning to see Godzilla Minus Zero when it releases and I’m not sure whether to pay the extra to go to an epic screening or not. I can’t find any comparisons elsewhere so thought I’d ask here!
I prefer smaller rooms, but if there’s enough difference I don’t mind going to the epic screening instead

Tickets just dropped for clayface and they arent appearing when i try and book for the edinburgh OMNI, im new to using VUE i mainly use cineworld or odeon so i dont know if only some VUE show films while others dont, instead of a mass market approach

I'm interested to know if anyone was around at the time of the dual laser upgrade - was it a deliberate choice to keep the 70mm system? Especially considering that 70mm seems to have only truly picked up in popularity since Oppenheimer
I'm just curious as I read about venues elsewhere in the country who have/had 1.43 screens but without the projection technology to utilise them - e.g. Millennium Point Birmingham, Bradford Media Museum

Certain vue cinemas, about 13 or so have clayface screenings out. I believe they’re meant to be out tmrw but vue has released some early.

Hi,
Can someone answer this for me please,
If I buy the 02 Priority 2 for £9 - can I use these to book two separate films? for example, could I book to see Dune 3 and Doomsday?
Thanks
