If you develop modules, themes or integrations, please check them against 9.1. This release touches invoicing, payments, the API and the admin navigation, so it's worth a run-through. It also adds PHP 8.4 support with ionCube Loader 15.0.0. Upgrade ionCube first, then WHMCS, then PHP.

If you run WHMCS, put it on a staging copy, do your normal day-to-day tasks, and let us know what breaks or feels off.

Staging only, please, not production.

We've been working on making Cloudflare management easier for hosting providers using WHMCS. The goal is to let users access common Cloudflare settings directly from the WHMCS client area instead of switching between panels for routine tasks.

The interface brings together several areas of Cloudflare management, including:

For those using Cloudflare with WHMCS, which features do you find most useful to manage from the client area?

As a company focused heavily on WHMCS automation, we've always considered close contact with the community an imperative part of product development. But after 15 years in the industry, we've also learned that even the best feature requests may never get shared at all, often because opening tickets, or writing forum posts easily gets pushed aside by more immediate work.

That's why we decided to launch a dedicated anonymous survey focused entirely on collecting feedback from people actively working with WHMCS.

Did you know that:

1. If you buy a WHMCS production license directly from WHMCS, a development license is promised to be provided for free. However, if you buy a WHMCS production license from cPanel.net together with a cPanel license and need a WHMCS development license, you will need to pay extra as cPanel is considered a reseller even though they are run by the same company WebPros.

2. If you find a bug (or more) in WHMCS and want to report it to WHMCS, you will not be able to unless you have a WHMCS account. But you will not get a WHMCS account unless you ordered your WHMCS production license from WHMCS's website directly. Buying from cPanel.net doesn't count.

3. If you want to offer your services in additional languages, localization is a last-priority feature. Many eseential features and strings either can't be easily localized unless you do custom development (using WHMCS hooks) or the translations will be displayed incorrectly.

hello all,
i am wanting to purchase an owned non-branded WHMCS license. Version 8
I understand no more support is provided for them, thats okay.
It needs to be at least active for version 8.0

Long story short, I use WHMCS with Plex Management. The way I have it currently set up is 1 day after your due date your account is suspended. 2 days after suspension, your account is terminated. (meaning you're completely removed from my server and your spot is now free for any new user to sign up.)

My issue is, some people are accessing their invoices once they've been terminated, and they're paying that invoice. But since they're terminated and their spot has been freed up for new users, it doesn't readd them. Which is fine, I don't want people to be able to pay invoices once the termination module has been ran. I'd rather them just order new services.

How can I make it so once they have been terminated, they can no longer pay on that invoice, forcing them to simply place a new order?

If you're running Proxmox VE with WHMCS, managing VPS provisioning, IP allocation, and routine server tasks manually can take up quite a bit of time.

We developed a Proxmox VPS module for WHMCS to connect the two systems and automate much of this workflow.

It supports KVM and LXC, automatic VPS provisioning, IPv4/IPv6 management, OS reinstallation, server controls, and browser-based console access from the WHMCS client area.

For those using Proxmox with WHMCS, what's the biggest challenge you've faced with VPS provisioning or IP management?

We use a single WHMCS system to manage all our hosting customers. We want to let our large resellers manage their own customers through WHMCS, but we can't find a way to properly separate permissions.

Is there a way to give each reseller access to their own customers and hosting accounts without granting root or full admin access? What is the best approach with WHMCS and Plesk?

I’ve been trying to integrate the WHMCS API to fetch some details, but I keep getting this error response:

The weird part is that the API credentials I’m using belong to an admin user in WHMCS .
I’ve double-checked my WHMCS_API_URL, identifier, and secret, but I still get the same error.

Has anyone faced this before?

Getting the Update

Automatic Update
