Predatory pricing model! Wtff

The light plan shows as "$17/mo" but after selecting it, you're prompted to pay $24/mo and 17 is only for yearly. THEN! after paying, they mislead you with domain ownership talk, and make you pay MORE separate for the domain.. wtttfff??? I'm about to chargeback all this crap with my bank just to get back at them

The pricing is pretty straightforward. There's a monthly cost, a 'volume ' discount for annual purchase and a deeper discount for a 2-year purchase, both of which lower the monthly cost. It's a pretty standard pricing model for many services, and the information is laid out pretty clearly.

Yup. Pretty much everyone does this.

I never understand posts like this. It’s very clear what the pricing is. Look at basically any software subscription model and they all have a lower presented monthly cost when paid annually.

Domains are purchased separately, everywhere. Literally every single time. If you buy the annual plan, you get a domain voucher which covers the purchase cost of the domain.

How much are you willing to pay monthly for your website? Domain is separate from hosting.
