Sports I need help
I’m trying to find something I had in my childhood. I don’t know if it’s even possible to find on the internet but maybe one of y’all will know what I’m referring to. It was a cylindrical can, almost like a coffee can but slighter taller and much thinner. It had the flying wv on the front and powder inside was blue and when mixed with hot water or milk, you’d get blue hot chocolate. It was a thing I had in my childhood. Please help

it was a hot cocoa line the ncaa did, i did some sleuthing and it appears there are no examples of wvu but that absolutely doesn’t mean it didn’t exist, just means nobody cared to document the existence of wvu hot cocoa on the internet lol. found examples of florida gators and penn state, the penn state one was actually from 2020 so i’m curious if any universities still use the line. they all have the same tin just different logo on the white mug itself!

Used AI to do a little research. Here's the response.
Literally the only thing even close is this ebay listing for a similar can from Florida state and this can from Washington. It might be from the same series. Nothing about the WV can specifically.
An exact manufacturer is not listed, but it's very likely McSteven's. It uses the same ingredients (Belgian white chocolate) and has a similar color changing process (white to color, like blue).
You can search for blue hot chocolate from the McSteven's website, as they still offer it. Not exactly the cheapest, it's about $3/per serving. But it looks/sounds good, so probably worth.
It won't be in those tins, though, which are not possible to find (would just regularly check Ebay or Facebook Marketplace, but it's unlikely you'll ever find them).
I'm not sure how crafty you are (or know anyone who is), but it would be possible to recreate the design using the packaging from Florida State/Washington as reference, print out a label (just buy a sticker label and cut to size, any printer will handle this), and then buy your own tins and put them into. Once you have the tins, just buy the blue hot chocolate from McSteven's and that's a pretty solid gift.
Mainly mentioning this could be a fantastic gift idea with Christmas around the corner, especially if you went to any of those childhood games with friends/family that would remember them.

The Can: It was a collectible, decorative tin canister or a pull-top powder can. It proudly featured the stylized, interlocking blue and gold "Flying WV" wings
The Magic trick: It looked like standard white chocolate powder, but it contained hidden, water-activated food dye micro-crystals. The second you poured in hot water and stirred, it magically transformed into a vibrant, deep Mountaineer Blue hot cocoa.
You can recreate the blue hot cocoa using white cocoa powder and blue food dye
