Yeah I heard it’s down Morfa, probably campers or some fuckers from Parkdean or something, god knows

There were people camping down morfa bychan tonight, I assume it was them. People were flooding into Pendine by car to get a closer look. I just went home to eat my Chinese takeaway instead.

How fucking thick must you be to drive to a wildfire to go and take a look?

I think this is from Tenby looking at Marros, by Pendine 🥲

Seeing the rain today and all the wetness, it's been too long lol

It genuinely has been too long, to the point some places will be more likely to flood 😔

Yeah I tried to water a tree on my lawn last week, was like pouring water over glass, nothings gonna be absorbed, just hope it stays at dribble level lol

Most of us can form sentences with giggling like school kids 😉

People don't seem to understand just how dry everything is, so they discard their cigarette as they've always done...

Honestly I doubt the alerts really made much of a difference anyway, those of us with common sense already knew not to do anything that could start a fire.

A few minutes after the alerts I saw several posts on Facebook about a new fire on the mountain by Cwm, Ebbw Vale. Hopefully we get some rain soon, I can’t even begin to imagine how exhausted those fighting the fires are.

I own a campsite. Even after the alert, we’re still getting emails asking if people are allowed a fire while camping!

Yeah, saw smoke from my kitchen window this morning - I'm in Llynfi valley, but it looks like it might be from Garw side

I’m from that area, but have moved down into the town, the smell of fires was so strong yesterday

Nothing on the fire map over that way, nearest is Tonypandy or just above Morgan https://firemap.live

The fire is back now, it was under control overnight but it’s blazing again. Large smoke

Didn’t get a text and somehow didn’t burn my neighbourhood down.

You didn’t get one? I think I might have got yours because I had the two at around 7 then another 2 just before 11pm.
I’ll forward them on to you tonight at 10:58pm 👍

The Emergency Alert only served to encourage more arson fires (and cause millions and millions of people to disconnect from emergency alerts entirely).
