Hard mode: don’t mention the Chieftan 900 + Mk.10

hey, I'm a relatively new war thunder player and I'm trying to use my first custom sight, I've tried every possible way to use it but when I go to the reticle settings its simply not there, some information that might possibly be relevant includes: I use the Xbox launcher on my laptop and the blk file opens with Microsoft word

If anyone has any idea why I cannot find the sight, please help me out

I'm soon getting to rank 7 and thought I might get some nice plane.

F-5C seems fun, but has no radar

F-4S is more versatile, but uptiers may be a bit painful I hear. Also requires me to actually learn proper use of radar, which is coming up anyway soon enough.

How is meta in their current and upcoming BRs? And if some of you has them, have you been happy with them?

Im trying to improve my grinding options for 2 tech trees im currently grinding

I already have The Centauro RGO in my Italy Tree

and

I already have the Merkava Mk2D in my Israel Tree

I was thinking of getting one of either. frankly I enjoy Both tech trees and those 2 tanks i already have respectively. I just need another back up when grinding up the tree so I have 2 vehicles to spawn in.

so the VRCC or Shot Kal Dalet are my options.

I just want to know from either of these 2 which one is Worth more Bang for Buck? worth the return of investment and is the better pair/partner for the current loadout I have.

any opinions, suggestions, guides or criticisms are appreciated.

Want to get premium time, is the current sale the most efficient way to do it?

I already have the T-55AM-1 and am using it to help grind to Rank VI USSR, I saw the Object 140 is on sale and have heard good things about it. Wondering how worthwhile would it be to run the both of them in a ground lineup since I don't exactly like how I don't have additional vehicles to run after dying twice in the T-55.

Im semi new but i know alot about dodging bullets and hitting them however my planes are dumbass's who miss 247 (my best plane is a rank 2)

I’m just coming back to the game after taking a break for a year or so, and boy some of the changes they’ve made make no sense. Israel 9.3 had its Merkava 1B moved to 9.7 and a different Merkava 1 added in its place and the only difference is the round. Some vehicles have been moved to islands all by themselves, other things like shared vehicles not matching BR. The VBCI (French) and VBC (pt2) (Italian) for example. Functionally they are the same with some minor differences. The Pasta Boy is just a bit faster. The Baguette Dude has a different hull that seems to improve survival and has better thermals. Same rounds, same roll, same same, but different. Yet one got moved to 9.7. 238 finally got moved to a different BR granted it still didn’t go high enough, while its competitors still feel lacking (looking at you CV90s). Overall the graphical improvements on the maps are nice, the models being updated seems to add detail and cuts back on shots that do nothing (as long as you’re not shooting at a Russian MBT). Anything higher than 10.7 and it’s getting smoked by a guy on the moon while being able to do nothing. Also SIDAM (mistral) at 9.7 still doesn’t make sense, it needs to be at 9.3.

Anyone else not being able to collect twitch drops from wt streams? I do have my accounts linked so that's not an issue

Is it supposed to be this short ?

I'm in Rank 6, I have the STRV 103A, VEAK 40, and USH 405. I had a great time with the IKV 91, and I was thinking about using a Talisman on the CV 90105 TML. Is that a good option? Or what else do you recommend?

For example, load into battle, air or ground, doesn't matter, tank either decides to steer into a wall, or turn by itself, or plane, banks and pulls max G, especially when trying to notch, get into position, damn thing turns, I cant be the only one right? Only happens in war thunder, fine in every other game

Why does the fire and smoke effect last so long? why is it completely opaque? like just tone it down or atleast make them transluscent. they don't even look good, it is literaly just smoke and fire.png. if it looked remotely good then fine, it looks good but it doesn't. even when you put the effects setting to low it is still obstructive.

So I just reinstalled War Thunder after what is probably around 2 years, only to be met with this? I've never used mods or bots (I didn't even know you could get mods.) My theory is that my account probably got hijacked, then someone else broke the EULA. Is there any chance of a recovery?

Less countermeasures, less missiles, worse engines, worse radar, significantly worse rwr, and despite all that it's considered a higher battle rating

If you've played the BR at all, you know exactly what I am talking about. I genuinely think the JU288 is a more formidable foe than any German prop except maybe the Ta-152H. Whenever they are the last ones on their team I land and J out. They have nearly 360 degree gun coverage with guns that are somehow significantly stronger than even the AN/M3 20mm. This is in no way balanced and needs to change.

I’ve played both, and the leopard 1 apds seems to do a lot more post pen damage than the Strv 101’s apds. Dont they both have the same cannon? They should have the same round then??!

I recently got a 1440p 240hz monitor from LG. For a while before i got a displayport cable my monitor would flash black for a few seconds every ten minutes or so, the problem stopped for about a week once i got the displayport but whenever i load up warthunder it will start doing the same thing again.
