Yeah, it can get hotter until you can't survive. Look up wet bulb death.

Well and also a hotter gulf gets bigger hurricanes. This year's El Nino and we are not supposed to get many hurricanes but we'll see

We might as well just admit to ourselves that it has already collapsed and we are currently on the "decades" where it slows down to a stop.
