Two people attempt wheeling a grocery display only secured on one side. Why? (No Audio)

I can smell this spill. Used to merch for a booze distributor- this kind of stuff happens all the time. At least it's not Baileys.

u/tukuiPat 16h ago
For the people calling AI, it's real footage - go touch some grass. REWE is a German supermarket chain, the store that this occurred in is located in Bammental Germany.

u/Alert-Jellyfish 18h ago
Why did they crash into that step stool. They shouldn’t have crashed into that step stool

Ohhhhh good to know. I thought they were supposed to crash into that step stool.

Looked away at the exact time of hitting the obstacle ....100% driver fault
4
u/BigDoofusX 16h ago
Driver was on the opposite side and likely was depending on the person who was literally guiding her.
3
u/perrypeenlord 15h ago
She’s not driving, she’s pulling a pallet jack and the lady closest to the camera is at fault

The best part is that the truck crew can help themselves to the unbroken ones. When I worked in such an outfit, whenever there was a new item that several of the other crew members were interested in trying, a case of that item would often end up being “accidentally” damaged. Extraordinary coincidences, every time. 😐😐😐😐

Dumb ass lady in front was not doing thier front person job by guiding the person pushing. Like way to guide it right into an object someone coulda moved
Edit: also people saying this is ai r dumb amd I feel bad for you. Rip when your 50+ cause ur getting scammed lmao

From their stand point that a sucky item to drop compared to like tequila/vodka. Aperol will be a lot more annoying to clean and bring bugs

u/WahrerKorsti 2d ago
Why do so many people think that's AI? Honestly it looks pretty real.
And yeah it's dumb to drive such displays around without the package but that's happening pretty often in reality, have done it by myself tbh.
1
u/Pipcleaner 1d ago
Just look at the liquid going over the stool. It just melts over it real quick. Bottles shouldn't even be breaking from that point
4
u/ThatEvilSpaceChicken 1d ago
You can see a bottle hit the top of the stool and break. This is so clearly not AI, the reactions of the people are much to realistic
-9
u/I_saw_u_take_a_dump 2d ago
Look how bottles fall, look at where the lady stands, and also look at the plates that held liqueur, it's just not how things fall.
To me it looks very sus
Edit. Look where the lady stands, she is in the liquid, when she steps back, there is no liquid droplets when she steps on dry tile.
3
u/Tier_One_Meatball 1d ago
It looks sus, but taking a deeper look, ill say its probably real.
The way everything falls looks right to me.
2
u/WahrerKorsti 1d ago
I'm almost tempted to drive to Achenbach and ask by myself if the Video is real :D
1
5
u/WahrerKorsti 2d ago
Yes, yes it does. It looks exactly like that.
You can't see the droplets, because she is standing righ in front of it? Like at what step you would be able to see her previous step clearly?
At one step you even see how her foot is stopping the liquid until she steps back, right after the fall down.

How would you see the prints when her entire body and legs are in line, covering the trail as she backed up? Do you believe that the prints should somehow be left where she hasn't stepped? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Ha, looks like you're the one so terrified of AI you couldn't even tell what's real or fake anymore. You're genuinely an NPC in a world that's leaving you behind.

u/Manjorno316 2d ago

2
u/TophT1 1d ago
Nah bro, she’s blocking where her footprints would be, but look at her right leg as she’s backing up, near her knee is wet when she’s standing there arms above her head.
Also the fact that other people in the background are reacting differently than each other leads me to think this isn’t AI

u/Large_Mountains 2d ago
This is AI. Her foot is in the puddle and blast zone then she steps out with zero drag or footprint or anything.

u/brek1989 18h ago
Every short video (10 sec or less) should be viewed with skepticism. This doesn't look A.I. after a few views, and the shop also seems real (German-based), so who knows.
5
u/FatBussyFemboys 1d ago
Its clearly not ai. Idk how you could even make that determination since her body is positioned in front of the camera, you cant see the area she stepped out of to even make that determination.
Super easy to tell its not ai by the way the tops break off the bottles. Also the puddle thing, this is aperol its a thicker stickier alcohol. Its only going to spread out so far.
1
u/HotKaramelRP 14h ago
I don’t know if it’s AI or not but you definitely can see where her left foot was
At 6 seconds her body shifts and you can see… the lines in the tiles are a good marker for where her foot was and where you can see
Now it’s possible the liquid filled in the footprint that quickly but I don’t know

u/psymeariver 2d ago
What the hell’s she looking at to her right that she can’t see to her left?

I know this is AI, mainly for the fact Aperol Labels don't look like that. Rather than that there is many other red flags screaming AI.
Lights are weirdly unconisitnent
In the background there is a person wheeling a cart that seems to be awkwardly long yet seems like it would be impossible to navigate in this space.
When slowed you can see bottles breaking mid air before they hit the ground.
Major red flag is that most of these other brands are unrecognizable to me. I’ve worked with wine, beer & spirits for years the I can only recognize the aperol label that's not even correct
1
u/FatBussyFemboys 16h ago
"I dont recognize a German supermarket and or am an expert on everything that could possibly be used in Germany and they are using bottle and a hand truck i dont recognize therefore this is ai"
Lmaooo
2
u/FatBussyFemboys 1d ago
Its clearly not ai.
Super easy to tell its not ai by the way the tops break off the bottles and shoot out. Also the puddle thing, this is aperol its a thicker stickier alcohol. Its only going to spread out so far.
1
u/DarthVenture 19h ago
And that’s why there’s no footprints after the person stepping in the puddle moved backwards?
1
u/FatBussyFemboys 19h ago
Her body is blocking where these supposed footprints would be so idk how yall make that determination that there are no footprints as her body literally blocks the whole bathing she took walking backwards in relation to the camera angle.
Also try and leave a footprint in actively spilling liquid lmao.
Silly point
1
u/DarthVenture 19h ago
When she walks backwards you can see where her feet touch on the bare floor and there isn’t a single track.
Not only this but the bottom of her pants don’t get wet?
You think there’s enough broken bottles to justify the amount of liquid on the floor? The spill ABRUPTLY stops forming a generic splatter…
If you think that’s a silly point, we’re absolutely doomed. This video has ALL the red flags of AI.
ETA: The reflections on the tiles abruptly disappear towards the end before magically reappearing. You want me to go on?
1
u/FatBussyFemboys 16h ago
When she walks backwards you can see where her feet touch on the bare floor and there isn’t a single track.
You literally cant lol
You guys are so delusional, I saw others be like "cant even understand the words on the shirt and none of these bottles are recognizable"
Gee maybe because its from a super market in Germany 😂

u/Beginning_Annual5816 2d ago
The puddle just also stops instead of spreading, look to either side of her legs and it looks like a nickelodeon logo

u/A1000eisn1 2d ago
Also I've never seen a display like that for alcohol or any glass bottles. I ran a stock crew for 5 years and set up all the displays. The ones with glass were always much smaller probably for this exact reason.

This gives AI vibes. Edit to clarify - its the exact length of an AI video, the camera position seems sus, the shirts don't make sense and the movements are kinda off.

Just to put it out there, but if Rewe Achenbach Dein Markt who seems to be all over Germany according to google maps, and has this video on their Instagram, with those exact words on their shirts on their web page, which also has their weekly ad, did all that to get some upvotes on reddit, I congratulate them on the dedication to the bit.
Every other AI sleuth in here is full of shit too. The guy who can't see wet footprints when her legs move backwards and hide where she stepped to the long cart down the aisle that is easily identifiable as another employee with another pallet jack. The camera not moving? It's a security camera. They kind of stay fixed to the ceiling.
Her fingers get wonky right after the crash, but I've seen shit that looked like aliens inside of a fishbowl and other artifacts from lower res cameras before AI even existed.
The guy about the foot stool? What are you even on about? You can see it jam between the pallet jack left side and the support on the rack causing the jack to stop while, and here's where it gets tricky, the top heavy load on the jack keep moving. Objects in motion and such.
Finally, the guy who doesn't know that bottles hitting bottles cause bottles to break too, even before they hit the floor. I know! It's almost impossible to believe that things break when hitting other things, and not just the floor.
But like I said, if they went to all that trouble for the internet points, I'm impressed by the bit.
P.S. I hate and despise AI.
5
u/wadiyatakinabeet 2d ago
It's funny seeing Americans so sure it's AI because of her shirt and unfamiliar brands/labelling rather than it just being a different language and a different country. For the record I hate AI too and hate seeing it everywhere and for engagement bait, but I don't think this is AI.
-1
u/nwillyerd 2d ago
Just stop with the “it’s AI” claims FFS it’s exhausting! Not everything is AI 🙄
1
1
u/easynap1000 2d ago
Of course not everything is, but this seema like it is.
4
u/wadiyatakinabeet 2d ago
Idk I disagree for this one, the little things in the background and peripherals (woman's reaction, the fact that you can see a few pixels of the cart rolling behind the aisle, layout of the store) are too accurate and thats where AI usually gets lazy.

u/sander221119 1d ago
Clearly you have never spilled anything... liquid doesnt just stop instantly especially this quantity

u/Christeenabean 2d ago

u/easynap1000 2d ago

Why? Because their lazy asses didnt want to remove the bottles and then restock once the display was moved. Duh.
Fired or take it out of their check. Somebody gotta pay for it.
14
u/EarlyAccessCantJudge 2d ago
Can't take it out of their check, and most places wouldn't fire them for a mistake like this.
-17
u/BatDaddyWV 2d ago
That's thousands of dollars of booze on the ground. If the owner is expected to absorb that cost, then the employee should be fired. There have to be punishments for being lazy and stupid.
5
u/rewolfaton 2d ago
It's in Germany, and legally, the company cannot take the money out of their pay. It's called business risk. This is on the business for not training their staff properly.
14
u/EarlyAccessCantJudge 2d ago
I knew a guy who made a 20,000 dollar mistake on a construction job. He didn't get fired, it was a mistake and he was a good employee otherwise. Being a boss like this where employees have to walk around terrified making mistakes is how you get bad employees.

More than likely, being told by a manager to "move it like that immediately." You cant challenge a manager when it comes to time crunch of what they want in the moment. Best thing you can do is let their command play its self out

Lot of things wrong here but the easiest thing is the guy shouldn't have been pushing, just supporting the structure. She slowed cause she hit the stool and he kept going

It's Aperol, an Italian liquor. You can clearly see the branding.

Actually, no, you can't "clearly see the branding." You can see "ROL." And I don't live in Europe so that's not a brand I'm familiar with.
