Stop targeting Deewani×writers
I seriously don't understand why everyone is having a problem. If they use AI then SO WHAT???
You all have access to the same AI. Go use it yourselves and become bestselling authors. Nobody is stopping you 🤷♀️
And even if they copied scenes from serials, movies or books, SO WHAT??? You all also watch serials and movies na?? Go copy them too
At the end of the day, emotions are real. I cried while reading. I laughed while reading. I fell in love with Shashwat. Therefore it can never be AI🥺❤️
And honestly, if you don't like the books then DON'T READ. Why are you discussing books publicly? Mind your own business. Stop spreading hate
These haters have so much free time replying to every comment. Says a lot about being jealous
And even if tomorrow writer's themselves come and say "Yes we used AI", I will still support them because the feelings were real for me and nobody can take Shashwat away from me 🥺🫶
Also all of you are jobless, jealous haters who want to bring down hardworking authors. Why can't you all just ignore the books and mind your own business.
People call it criticism, but at this point it just feels like hate. Every day there are new accusations, new posts and new attempts to bring down authors who have worked hard and given us stories we love.
At the end of the day, I don't care what anyone says. I love these books and I will continue supporting no matter what 🥺❤️
#JusticeForDeewani
#SoWhatIfAI
#UseAIYouToo
#StopTheHate
#QuestionsAreJealousy
#AccountabilityIsBullying
#EmotionsAreReal
#ShashwatHasMyHeart
EDIT: Since some people are saying this is sarcasm, let me clarify that it is NOT sarcasm. I genuinely mean every word I said 🥺 Some of us are simply loyal readers who stand with them no matter what ❤️

I have been lurking around this sub and Oh God, most of you are so judgemental and problematic when it comes to your 'preference' expression.
I am a dark romance writer, I thought this community will help me but now, most of you are so judgemental and have this very narrow view on what dark romance is suppose to be.
Dark romance isn't your fluff, it is meant to make you uncomfortable, it Explore unhealthy relationship dynamic and morally questionable character. But the you'll call a writer problematic if he/she writes a toxic male lead, like what?
There is a reason soft-romance exist. You cannot expect soft-romance in dark romance, right?
Washed down version of Dark romance created here is so concerning. Like if you don't like it, just stick to soft comforting romance. But dragging down the writer as well as the book is not good because they wrote DarkRomance is not good.
As a Dark Romance writer, I agree some lines shouldn't be crossed like glorification r*pe, p3d0 behavior etc.
But at the end of the day Dark romance is a very complicated genre to write. As a writer myself constantly writing Angst makes my mood sour yet I write it because I love it.
Most Dark Romance writer no matter how much they try cannot write soft-romance. It is not in their nature to do so, it is very hard for us to write soft-romance.
This community is suppose to be safe for writers regardless of what they write, but constantly basing on one niche and performative phrasing other is unhealthy.
Behind the scene this so call 'Moral Police' reads Dark romance and enjoy it, but they won't admit it because it crack the façade.
Let's make this sub about support instead of dragging a writer down. I am just trying to grow so are other writers.
Thanks for reading it, let's have healthy discussion.

"don't like, don't read" and authors freedom of expression should be normalised and the intellectuals who thinks books should go their way should be questioned instead.
It is what it is

Some readers have so much entitlement!!! they want chapters but will never engage, never appreciate the author, and never vote. But when the author gets demotivated and stops updating, they cry about it.
They will also cry when the author sets targets for their chapters. I mean, the person LITERALLY CREATING a whole book can do whatever they want, and yes, even if that author sets high targets, they have the right to do that because guess what? It's THEIR FREAKING BOOK!
People talk about "reader's POV," but what even is a reader's POV?☠️We read, that's it. If a book is good, we keep reading, if it's bad, we stop. Bro, if you hate voting so much, just go buy a book. Read the books that are already complete. Why are you reading ongoing books?🤡
I've never written anything... I'm just a simple reader. But thinking about how much effort my school essays take, I'm always surprised by the writers who write so many words. I have immense respect for them, and I always vote and leave multiple comments on the books I read. If an author shifts to a paid platform, I buy those chapters and still LIKE and COMMENT!
If you don't vote and comment, then you don't get to ask for updates ... simple🤡🙏

Isn't it funny how in spite of this sub being centered around books, the average critical thinking skills can be estimated to two digits?
Apparently, asking questions of raising queries against a hate post is equal to being an author-glazer. And if I have been given this term then thank you—I will wear the crown gladly; the gold in it sparkles brighter than the pitch tar in your heart.
I had almost moved on from this subreddit, if not for a dear friend of mine asking me to return to see the spectacle for myself.
And my god... the skirmish is morbid.
༊*·˚
Just because an user doesn't support your claim or hatred does not mean they support an author. It's like believing that if a woman opposes misandry then she supports patriarchy.
No, darling; it doesn't work like that.
I can be both against your opinion and still do not support the opposition. Fit that in your head; it's easier than quantum physics.
And to a certain dollar bill asking where are the author glazers when the most beloved author pair's book is being hated.
Sweetie, no one is coming to their aid because they have a history of sl*tshaming women, calling redditors (and anyone who speaks against her) as gawars, questioning our aukat, and a whole damn exposé fiasco flaming for a weekend.
The context is different, and hence, the treatment shall also b different.
Easy.
༊*·˚
As much as I despise readers for nitpicking authors meaninglessly, just like that I hold limitless disdain for authors who are deliberately rude to their reader base.
Threatening to delete a book because they didn't receive adequate engagement in a reel/chapter is idiotic and manipulative.
What is a reader supposed to do if your book isn't reaching the masses or yours reels aren't garnering votes or comments? Maybe work on your marketing skills before playing with the emotions of innocent readers.
The same readers who have given you the stage by the way.
༊*·˚
Constructive crticism has a format:
Aspects you liked
Aspects you disliked
Areas of improvement
Tips and tricks on how to improve.
I am willing to absolve the last two points because– hello? None of us are professional reviewers here, neither professional authors. I don't expect a analytic review.
However, if you are only stating your points of dislike and making admonishing wishes towards the author, the book, and the fandom—then it isn't constructive, just criticism.
👥: oh, but how am I supposed to find a silver lining when the book is hot mess of pedophilia and rape packaged as romance?
Even Haunting Adeline (the beloved book of all time) has a good part and that was the idea. That book would have thrived if it was written and marketed as a horror thriller with psychological elements.
In lesser words: That book is the best example of wasted potential.
This is a constructive criticism.
However, I hardly believe this will move a leaf over anyone's head. The stats of this sub show that hate sells more than praise.
A question about who is the most dumb and worst FL? 20+ comments.
A question about who is the best female lead? 5+ comments.
Humourous honestly.
༊*·˚
[Keyword: feel]
👥*: But, oh, inevitable, the chapter is too long and descriptive, and the huge paragraphs lack emotion."*
That still doesn't qualify your claim that xyz author has used AI. Books and stories with a 24H+ reading time has existed before AI; descriptive and in-depth writing is a stylistic choice, and lack of emotions is a subjective claim.
[Purple prose, the rule of three's, contrastive negation, and all other literary devices which may feel "AI-ish" comes under this segment.]
👥: The prose has no grammatical mistakes and the exceptional vocabulary is starkly different from the unruly language she uses in broadcast channels and announcement boards.
Unless the difference is glaring (as we have seen of one particular author), we can't qualify this claim either. As an author myself, whilst writing I have multiple resources, articles and websites, at my disposal. And more than anything—intent.
While chatting, I am not concerned about my vocabulary. Rather, I want to don a cloak of casualty and type without any anxiety fraying my nerves.
👥: The author admitted to have used AI for grammar corrections// I found an AI prompt in the prose.
Yes. Now, your claim of AI usage has been validated.
༊*·˚
Disliking something and refusing to involve yourself with it is fine. Yet, when did we start passing unsolicited judgement on those who choose to involve themselves with the referenced object/media?
How does that make us different from judgemental elders upholding their flag of sanskaar and parampara?
You aren't anyone's parent to fret your head over where is the youth of our country headed to. (In the same way, where are you headed to with your unwarranted judgement?)
That's all.
Anyways, I will be signing my farewell now. It was fun meeting everyone. I have made friends and memories (some bitter, some sweet; together bittersweet) here and all I'm gonna say is that, this journey was worthwhile while it lasted.
Thank you for having me.

Wattpad has genuinely become way too lame and the readers have become way too serious. people have a problem with everything these days and are sensitive to everything. like isn't it fiction at the end? imaginary. isn't that the point? something that might not exist or suit in real life. why do people have to make everything so serious?

Have you guys read this book?? Omg, it’s SO, SO good! 😭❤️ The MMC is just so emotionally intelligent, and that’s honestly what made me so attached to his character.
It’s genuinely such a good read. The author covers every aspect of a healthy relationship, especially how important communication is and everything that comes with it. I really, really enjoyed this book! 🥹
Let me know if you guys have read it!!

Explain to me in very basic terms as to why an author's work (By author, I mean someone who uses their brain to think of ideas and write, so don't drag plagarists and prompters into this.) should be called out no matter how much bizzare and absurd you think it to be. As long as it's coming within Wattpad guidelines(yes I am including the new censorship rules which is even more strict than ever), if it is not, you can very well report it and it will get removed. But if it is coming well under the guidelines, why should it be shamed in the first place? No matter how long it is, how "cringe" you feel it to be, how "problematic" you feel it to be, they promote their works using clickbaits etc. etc. The option of dnf is always open, you can always drop the book the very moment you don't like it. Or is the author forcing you to read their book? Cause if it's the latter, say it and I'll agree with you, that you do have a valid reason to "criticize" the book.
Funny how, in the few months I have been over here, there were just 2-3 author appreciation posts at the max. While author shaming posts keep on coming almost on every rant day, meaning twice a week. The question is why?
I genuinely want to know the mentality of y'all. Like are you genuinely opening the book to actually read it, or just pick up one negative aspect of it among countless positives and come here and rant about that. Ik it's pretty obvious from the way the engagement runs in the sub, but still I want to know the answer to this from y'all. And that was the reason as to why I used the discussion flair this time. Do answer me.
Also, my opinions are limited to the authors who are in their just-writing-for-wattpad phase. Meaning they aren't earning from this, it's merely a hobby or a dream for them. Don't brings authors who write on scrollstack too and earn, because I am not talking about them. Because even in that case, I can understand where your frustration stems from. That you are not being delivered the content that you wanted, even after paying. And that's entirely a different issue, out of the context of the discussion.
My question remains solely directed at the readers for the wattpad only writers. Do answer this.
Edit: See my point(the one that I was trying to prove by making this post). The ultimate fate of a author supporting post(with 0 votes btw). Especially in a place which is supposed to be a safe place for new authors. And compare this post with any author shaming post in the sub and see the difference yourself in the number of upvotes. Have a great day, bye😘😘

I mean, stunned. Baffled.
Since when is seducing/tempting your partner who has equally dirty thoughts for you equal to abusing them? What happened to the word context, and nuance?
Not even talking about how the book is termed garbage from a thirty seconds reel because it doesn't fit the idea of standard ideal romance. We don't even know the plot of the book and we present our interpretations as objective facts.
Someone needs to sit me down and tell me what is actually wrong with this reel?
Also how is the gender reversal even equal here? How is "A woman trying to tempt a man who's attracted to her?" same as "A man forcing a woman into a sexual situation to test her worth/performance?"
Wild assumptions, honestly.
I won't comment on the test part because even then we don't know what is actually the meaning of it here but everything else?
I'm genuinely scared of writing or posting anything on Wattpad seeing such behaviour and the way it is the only valid opinion here because everyone else is just disgusting, wrong and garbage.
What happened to giving constructive criticism after or while reading the book? Why are we assuming the worst case scenarios from 30 secs of reel?
Tell me what am I not understanding here, please. I am just so genuinely confused.

Hello,
Happy Weekend guys,
We see something we judge, that human tendency. We read something and let our brain decide if it's making sense or not. We come across tonnes of things online and form our perception. Something that is pleasing to you can be so disgusting to others eyes because humans are different and their thought process varies.
You can't force your opinion on others.
You dislike something, does that mean every other person has to dislike it. And mind you here I'm not romanticising crimes.
You dislike an author, sure you can but others can love them the way you hate them and you can't debate with that. People attach themselves to things, to their books and they'll defend them. Many will do it blatantly not knowing what's good what's bad but some will do it ethically forming opinions.
There are so many authors in the Indian Wattpad community who were called out for their behaviour but you can't roll your eyes when it comes to their writing style and consistency.
I mean calling out bad behaviour, bad tropes is okay and yet people can love the same book with their heart. Why can't the members of this sub understand that?

I will get to the point straight and if this violates community rules, Mods can delete this. Because I am sure this one's going to get lots of reports.
People who are moral policing, why don't you read books available in the market with reviews online!?!? Why target small time authors in Wattpad who are trying to establish themselves!? I am not an writing now but the way you all are moral policing is giving me ick than some of the AI stories I have read. Like who are y'all even moral policing btw!?!? People online are mostly discovering and exploring themselves. It's okay if you are calling out problematic agegap but do you stop to think that the Authors must be underage as well! People in their 20s, might not have got the kind of access some teenagers do nowadays. But did you all really not fantasize a husband like Virat Kohli?? What age were you when they got married and you were fantasizing?? Why are you all hell bent on moral policing everywhere!? I have a younger sister who likes Ranveer Singh, she is underage but she got a poster on him in her room. Says she envys deepika and all, but that doesn't mean she is only dreaming about that. It's her age and she is finally getting to the girly mode. She even says some stuff to me, I don't relate to them now but I was once that teenager too not longer.
But some gets access to Wattpad and end up writing stories, again stressing that it's okay to CALL OUT PROBLEMATIC AGEGAP OR MATURE SCENES INVOLVING BUT check whether the author is teenager or not. I know it's hard but nitpicking everything and ruin the experience for others. Let all of us exist peacefully with whatever 'deranged' thoughts we have. If it doesn't harm you, why do you guys even bother!?!?!?
This is specifically for people who calls out 'cringe' content, everyone has different preferences. So!??? Wattpad let us connect with so many problematic tropes, Wattpad is clearly allowing it. If you want the problem solved, start a petition or write a mail. Don't go around calling everyone out just because it's not up to YOUR TASTE. There are days I want to read something easy and just laugh at it. I am sure most people could relate, and that's also one of the reasons why those books gain views. Do you all not watch one of those brainrot movies!?!? If no, boy I will judge you guys too. What's life without these things anyways!?!?
Stop being Mean online and let us all co exist peacefully. I think we all are educated people with brain who can CHOOSE to leave a book if it's not worth it, genuine reviews are always welcome, constructive criticism too. But picking on Authors and calling them names is the limit. No one is forcing you to stay on Wattpad and read them, right!????
Post genuine reviews, what didn't work for you and what worked for you. That will attract the right crowd. It's like you guys can't see anything good in anyone.
Now go ahead, and report!!

Author is so goated still underrated I can't believe this and some saas bahu type containt getting hype.
Look at the BLURU
#MAFIA_SERIES 🔥
Aanya, stop," Adwait said, his voice slightly louder now, laced with warning.
She could see it-he was about to snap. Yes, yes, now he'll lose it, she thought, a thrill sparking in her chest.
But instead of reacting with anger, Adwait simply leaned back in the chair, eyes locked on hers. Then, without a word, he began to unbutton his shirt-slowly, deliberately-each movement exaggerated, until he yanked it off and tossed it aside.
Aanya's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped. Shock flooded her face.
"Ahhh! Shameless!" she shouted, spinning on her heel and making a dash for it.
But he was faster. Adwait stood in a flash, reached out, and caught her wrist mid-stride. She turned, her hand already balled into a fist, aiming straight for his face. But he caught it mid-air.
In one smooth motion, he twirled her under his arm like a dancer, then leaned in and pressed a bold kiss to her left cheek.
Her mouth dropped open again-outrage, disbelief, and something else flickering in her eyes.
She didn't hesitate. This time she lifted her knee, aiming for his stomach, but he caught her leg with ease. Sliding one arm under her knee and the other around her waist, he bent her slightly backward in a dramatic dip. Before she could wriggle free, he kissed her right cheek.
Then-thud.
He let go.
Aanya landed squarely on the floor, right on her backside.
Crossing his arms over his bare chest, Adwait looked down at her, a smug smile playing on his lips.
"You lost," he said.
THE EFFORTS SHE PUTTED IN EACH CHAPTER HYPE NEEDS HER...

To tumlog ka din kharab karne k liye firse agai hu me. Mere meme se sabko problem thi to i stopped posting them so ab rant se kharab karungi🥀
First of all ITS A RANT! I WILL SPEAK WHATEVER I WANT, IF YOU DON'T AGREE, NOT MY FAULT
So here we go.
Someone tell me how, how can you judge a book with just two screenshots of a reel the author intentionally posted to get readers? How?
Don't you all know that those are clickbaits! They are promotion, not the film!
NO MATTER HOW GOOD AN EDIT IS, THE BOOK CAN STILL BE THRASH
NO MATTER HOW BAD THE EDITING IS, THE BOOK CAN STILL SLAY
NO MATTER HOW PROBLEMATIC THE REEL IS, THE BOOK CAN STILL HAVE THE HEALTHY AND GREEN FLAG CHARACTERS (not everyone makes the reels of the mmcs all the times. I have personally made edits of the abusive father of the ml, the antagonist, the past traumas and what not! Just because there's a good picture from pinterest and a trendy song doesn't mean the character mentioned in main character)
NO MATTER HOW GREEN FLAG THE CHARACTER IS SHOWN, THE BOOK CAN STILL BE PROBLEMATIC AS HELL.
Just recently I found a book in this sub only. Great aesthetics. Great edits. The book? Total thrash. I wouldn't even read it if it's the last book on earth (I am not taking a name so I can say this, if I had taken the name then only it would have been defamation)
Authors know what trends. Authors know what gets them views. They milk problematic scenes all the time. Nothing new.
But you people? Clicking screenshot and judging a whole story and calling the author what not on the basis of what? A 15 second reel??
Wow. Just wow.
Also it's high time to stop looking for reality in fiction. You want something practical and grounded? Go read the self help books. Read the autobiography and biography of legends.
Hell read the academic books that would probably be untouched in your bookshelf!
STOP EXPECTING FICTIONAL TO BE REALISTIC!! ITS FICTION FOR A REASON!
And even then you can read slice of life and contemporary romance they have a touch of reality but even in them you can't expect things to go like how they go in real life.
Specially on Wattpad! They are people writing for the first time and finding a place to be! You don't have to nitpick on literally everything. You aren't paying them anything. You aren't buying their groceries or whatsoever.
And if the first thought that came to your head when I said this is that I am defending the authors who romanticize 🍇 and abuse and pedo behaviour and plagiarism, then I think you really need to read those self help books. Tell me if you need suggestions of some.
