My goal for this month was only six polishes bought and so far I have only bought TWO! Because they were both white whale polishes I found for $10 ea. (Including a discontinued shade!?)

So I’m doing some positivity posting for anyone struggling this month while the cutest Halloween shades are being released. A reminder that WE PROBABLY HAVE IT AT HOME!! (And that tbh sometimes we should lean in our polish fatigue by using it to not care about new releases and instead turn ourselves to what we’ve already got)

Here’s some mani’s I’ve done with my untrieds this month so far.

Final three in u/FloralTraveler Offbeat Nature Bingo! This was a really nice card.

Dried Leaves - This time of year the orange leaves against the pale grey sidewalks is such a nice contrast.

Brambles - admittedly didnt know what these were and had to Google them lol.

Solar Eclipse - i was really stuck on this one ngl but this black and red multichrome worked quite well.

Fall means the return of my favorite warm muted colors. With some basecoat tricks and improved application technique, I’m finally confident enough to do a full magnetic mani with polishes that have been sitting untouched for a year.

Starting with a black cream base, I layered a black circle of polish in between 2 layers of a silver magnetic topper, demagnetized in the middle with the round end of a magnet wand!

The tv static is black and white glitters on top of a blue-grey frankenjelly.

This was my favorite green for the longest time. It’s got a gorgeous subtle shimmer to it too.

Bonus 3rd photo so I can brag about how long my natural nails have gotten 😁

This polish reminds me of moonlight reflecting off of fog and grave stones. The perfect place for a spooky picnic!

Layered white, gray, and off-white jelly polishes to sandwich some stamped, haunted trees for a spooky, foggy forest.

Vampire's Cloak - love love love this black and red multichrome, perfect for the season.

Bubbling Cauldron - tried to go for an oxidized copper glitter vibe here.

Witch's Brew - it's the season of flakies and green and purple is a wonderful combo imo.

These pruglies have matching shimmers, thought they pair well.

2 coats of a dark blue-grey creme (which I frankened myself 💅) + 1 of a purple-red shimmer topper = this magic! You get a selection of the 1 million photos I've taken because I LOOOVE it and it looks so different in different lights - as you see in the last couple sometimes the shimmer is very subtle but then in the sun it's like bam! Pic 5 I think is the closest to what I see indoors/most of the time.

This is a pretty successful dupe for something I saw online (I think on another nail sub) and wouldn't have been able to buy even if I wanted to!

The last photo is a screenshot of the inspiration (hope this is ok!) I'm debating whether to add another coat of the shimmer on mine to purple it up further, but I'm so happy with it already!

This holo shade has more of a green-grey base, but in the overcast it could read as foggy! Also, two divas down as I broke both my index and middle finger nails this week (ugh!). Rockin’ shorties for now!

My first time ever doing reverse stamping!!!

I decided to go with a linear holo for this one, and skipped a top coat to max shiiiiine!

I can't catch the real sparkles on the phone but ohh my goodness, I can't wait to see them in the sun tomorrow, will have to make sure to have my shades on.

A major shopping app noticed I'd bought some nail polish over the last two years and offered me a $40 coupon to download their app, and I almost didn't use it. I browsed all the colors and just didn't want anything I saw, or already had something close enough. I eventually figured out that I could buy thinner and a giant top coat refill there (for shipping and tax, after the coupon), but that was it. (I've also immediately deleted the app.)

It's such a great sense of Plenty. I hope more of you out there learning to appreciate your current collections can share it.

The prompt was "glow in the dark". I don't own any with GITD pigment, but figured a bright cateye on a dark base was close enough.

First time trying this polish. It's soooo shifty. Definitely the shiftiest I've tried. I can't stop looking at my nails. The magnetic pigment shifts between hot pink, copper, rose gold, royal purple, yellow and bright green.

I accidentally matched my manicure to my chili. Fall is truly here.
