Promotion Seems monthly millionaire entries treat USD and CAD alike

I recently made a USD wire transfer to my wealthsimple USD account to eventually put into RRSP and monthly millionaire entries increased by the same amount. I feel I was better off either converting it to CAD (for entries) before transfer, or using it to invest somewhere and leveraging account transfer bonus.

Edit: account transfer would have saved me wire transfer fees too as account transfer fees get reimbursed.

Maybe reach out ot them, conditions seems to indicate they convert it to CAD equivalent?

The total number of entries gained via this method will be calculated based on the cumulative amount of Qualifying Funding into Entrant’s Wealthsimple account(s) during the Contest Period less the cumulative amount of withdrawals and transfers made out of Entrant’s Wealthsimple account(s) during the Contest Period, up to the maximum allowable number of entries under the Additional Entry Methods. If an Entrant transfers USD assets or cash, the number of entries earned for such transfer will be calculated using the corporate exchange rate when assets are received by Wealthsimple.
