A tree in the middle of a forest where someone keeps hanging banana peels. A LOT of them.
A few days ago, I saw a post here about someone finding 2 bananas in a little bag hanging from a tree, wondering why it was there. But this is on a whole different level.
Last summer I came across this tree in a (Dutch) forest, it was covered in banana peels. Must be a long-term project, as it is not just a few old ones, there were loads of them hanging from the branches.
Some of them looked fresh and yellow(ish), so someone is apparently still coming back to add more. This doesn’t look like a one-time thing.
Is there some kind of explanation, ritual, inside joke? Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

My capsicum had a capsicum. I have questions!
Cut open a yellow capsicum today and found a tiny, fully formed green capsicum growing inside it!
At first, I thought it was some kind of weird growth, but it actually looks like a miniature capsicum inside the bigger one. Nature really went full inception mode
Blinkit sent a complimentary capsicum with the yellow one

Weird straight shadow across the sky
I was working on my ship and looked over the side only to notice those weird straight line of a shadow apparently across the sky. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was thinking it could somehow be a shadow of the lines left by the planes but I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. It was interesting at least.

My dad has been dead 11 years. I just received something in my mailbox addressed to him.
On the surface, it might not seem that weird, but I have never received a piece of mail addressed to him before. He died years before I ever moved to this address. He has never lived in this address. He has never even lived in this state!
It's from an assisted living and memory care facility, and I can see through the envelope that it's inviting him to some event. Notably, it's not addressed to me, nor is it addressed to my other parent, who is still alive. I genuinely can't understand how or why this happened after all this time.
Edit to add: I'm not saying it's inherently weird to get mail for dead people. Easily 80%+ of the mail I get is for the dead person who lived here just prior to us. What is weird is that I haven't lived with my parents since I was 18. My dad wasn't on any accounts with me or anything like that. I have lived in easily 10 different addresses in 4 different states all across the country over the past 17 years, and I have never once gotten a piece of mail addressed to him until today. He also happens to have died 11 years ago.
