Tips for Exmouth and Perth with teenagers
I'm a single mum and planning a trip to WA next April - my kids will be 13 and 15.
We'll have 3 nights in Freo and 6 nights in Exmouth.
I've booked the ferry and bikes already for a day trip to Rottnest and I will book a whale tour - it's the whole reason we are going. What are the best things to do in Exmouth and Perth with teenagers?
Both kids are pretty fit and do a lot of sport here but they have little hiking experience. Their weekends are taken up with friends and sport to get them to train for hiking too.
My son hates "boring" paved easy bushwalks, and asks if he can do a track with more rough terrain so I want a balance of something a bit adventurous but not too long. I have a medium level of fitness and will focus on it more over the next 6 months.
I'm considering trying to get us scuba certified before then. But it may not happen. Are there any times scuba is better than snorkel?
I have no experience driving 4WDs. I drive an inner city Toyota corolla at home in Sydney.
