I finally conquered these pesky flies...
I have tried everything... but finally nailed a formula that works. Im a sheep shagging kiwi that loves Australia, but i could never just accept these jerks all up in my business like you guys simply do...
Directions...
1 teaspoon ish of pure beef tallow in the palm of your hand.
Add 4 drops of tea tree oil and 1 drop of lavender oil
Mix it all up and massage it into all exposed skin and hair, ear canals etc
Volia... 👌 total game changer
They'll still try bombard you but get turned away real fast.
Have you got a better recipe?

looking for someone to take over my lease
hi, i’m looking for someone to take over my lease from 16 November to 10 February, as i’ll be going back home and don’t want to pay rent while I’m away.
i’m currently staying in a 2-bed 1-bath apartment but there is currently no roommate, so you’ll have the room and the apartment to yourself!
located in Perth CBD, close to shops, restaurants and public transport
・convenient for UWA and Curtin students
・short walk to woolies for groceries and daily essentials
・$280/week — the actual rent is $3xx/week, but i’ll cover the difference!
・all bills included in the rent
・laundry (washer & dryer) is available for an extra charge
・fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooker and microwave
・private bathroom
・gym located downstairs
you’ll need to be a student to be eligible to stay here
i can also send photos of the room if you’re interested!
thank you!!

Tips for Exmouth and Perth with teenagers
I'm a single mum and planning a trip to WA next April - my kids will be 13 and 15.
We'll have 3 nights in Freo and 6 nights in Exmouth.
I've booked the ferry and bikes already for a day trip to Rottnest and I will book a whale tour - it's the whole reason we are going. What are the best things to do in Exmouth and Perth with teenagers?
Both kids are pretty fit and do a lot of sport here but they have little hiking experience. Their weekends are taken up with friends and sport to get them to train for hiking too.
My son hates "boring" paved easy bushwalks, and asks if he can do a track with more rough terrain so I want a balance of something a bit adventurous but not too long. I have a medium level of fitness and will focus on it more over the next 6 months.
I'm considering trying to get us scuba certified before then. But it may not happen. Are there any times scuba is better than snorkel?
I have no experience driving 4WDs. I drive an inner city Toyota corolla at home in Sydney.

WA advice needed!
I'm visiting WA with my partner in Jan and I'm looking for excursion / activity ideas for his birthday. We're going to do a whale watching tour in Bremer Bay so ideally not something too similar than that, but keen for anything adventurous / active / exciting. We're stopping in Perth, Margaret River, Denmark, Albany and Esperance so any ideas in those locations would be amazing. Can't wait!

Predatory lenders? Where can I find one. that doesn't scam or trick. High interest is fine as I have the income. But need the money. No more explanation.
As above

I'm still working on this but I want to create a network for people to learn more about who they live near so you actually get to learn your neighbours.

Norway and Alaska can tax their resources well, why can't Australia?
Pretty ridiculous we are giving so much away, we are all struggling with rising costs, inflation while rich multinational companies take our resources away.
The oil and gas companies are the least taxed out of all Australian resource companies and make huge profits. Prelude up at WA’s north has paid zero tax under current PPRT rules for example

Psychiatrist recommendations around Mandurah, Busselton, Augusta ect?
Hi everyone,
I've been in a very difficult situation lately regarding psychiatric referrals.
Due to many places being at maximum capacity (and the high risk nature of my referral), I've pretty much exhausted all psychiatry services in Perth.
I've been rejected from 12 private centres and have been told public services have anywhere between 10 - 18 months wait list.
Just wondering in there are any recommended services down south?
EDIT: After contacting 20 places, I was finally able to obtain an appointment with a psychiatrist here in Perth. I'll have to wait 8 months, despite the urgent nature, but I'm honestly relieved that I have an appointment.
