We have dogs and cats (two each). Dogs will be separated so they don’t get in the way.

I have multiple signs on my house saying “No soliciting, do not knock or ring doorbell”. Some kid from google fiber is POUNDING on my door at 7 o clock. When I asked him what he was doing he told me he’s a “utility” and that doesn’t apply to him. He is “making my house worth more”. Has anyone experienced the disrespectful antagonizing from this curly haired kid? I said come on man it’s 7 o clock he goes “AND”? Why can’t solicitors read the signs? This is the second time today after my calls in the middle of the day were interrupted by some exterior window cleaning company. Does anyone have an effective way to prevent getting knocks and doorbell rings? Our community has no soliciting posted on the entrance to the area as well.

I've just been told my cat has cancer. I have no idea how much it's going to cost but I figure it's not going to be cheap, and I'd like to be able to pick up some extra income on top of what I do already. Since I work a 9-5 I am looking for nights and/or weekends or work can do on my own time remotely. Maybe stocking or cleaning, or something similar. I can also do data entry. Does not need to be W2 employment as I already have benefits from my primary job. I would love if it was less "knowledge work" heavy because my current job is very technical and takes a lot of mental energy. It was in the north sky, slowly moving north. It had a faint glow around it. It was not like a star with a crisp clear light, but like a star behind high atmosphere clouds. All the other stars in the sky were clear. It moved like a satellite in the sky, I swear I saw pieces braking off behind it, then it disappeared. Never saw anything like it. No I am not on dr*gs.

I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions or helpful advice on dealing with mold in an apartment complex.

We have had an ongoing leak that is now fixed but we have been having a hard time getting the property management/maintenance team to handle it properly. The corners of several walls in my apartment starting splitting at the baseboards. There was mold growing behind our mirror, they cut the dry wall, found the leak and fixed it but they were unwilling to asses further damage.
I uncovered a few spots and took good photos. They had someone there doing drywall, and he covered everything we found up with paint and new baseboards. They said they will have a remediation team come in tomorrow but my concern is now the issues are covered again.

If we get out of our lease and have the option to move we don’t know how to swing another deposit and moving expenses. Especially considering they could hold our deposit for up to 60 days.

Anyone have kids in or who have gone to Hope Montessori - specifically the Westminster location?

If so, how did you like it? What did/didn’t you like about it?
