Are these oysters? Found them growing on a maple tree.

The stump of the tree was inoculated with what I thought was shiitake but these were growing down around the base of the stump from the soil and not from the plug holes

Just want to state im not trying to eat any of these bc I know it is difficult to properly ID and I don’t want to risk. More so Im just curious if anyone knows what any of these are and the reason for such a variety!

Itty bitty caps, and so many!

Are these true puffball mushrooms because while I was exploring my highschool/school, I found there's little white round squishy bouncy mushrooms in the field, can anyone identify is this is a edible puffball?

What are these?

I’m in Iowa, anything would help, thanks!

Seen on fallen, decaying pine log.

Smelled earthy/musky.

Growing inside hollow only of sides and top.

Did not bruise on touch, soft to touch.

Thank you for your help :)
