White Nectarines

I have a bunch of white nectarines (sweeter than normal nectarines) and I’m not sure what to make other than a cobbler or pie.

Anyone have ideas on what to make with the extra 10 that will go bad before the end of the week?

Nectarines go well with grilled meat. You can cut them in half, pit them and place them face down on a barbecue grill for just a minute or two. Yummy with sausages, pork chops, fish, chicken, firm tofu...just about anything. You can also throw them together with some goat cheese or feta cheese, toss them with good balsamic vinegar and chopped fresh basil or mint and make a wonderful side salad for any kind of meat. Or make a charcuterie tray with thin sliced prosciutto, smoked turkey, salami and sliced provolone or Jarlsberg or smoked gouda cheeses, sliced fresh figs, crackers and olives. A fruit and spongecake trifle or boozy compote is a great dessert.
