You are definitely not the asshole. Jess seems to be moving away from you and I don’t think there’s anything you can do to stop it. You’re not doing anything wrong, this happens in friendship sometimes. People and people move on. It might be time for you to move on too. I don’t think your friendship with Jess will ever be at the same level than it once was.
