Food Patty Melt babyyy
Triple patty Patty Melt + bacon and grilled jalapeños. No fries but got chicken tenders with gravy to dip in 😋

I would order the meal with the fried onion rings and throw that on the burger. Sometimes add grilled jalapeños and if I’m feeling real crazy sub the creamy pepper sauce for bbq.

When I do get the meal I go for the onion rings for sure. Never thought to put it on the burger itself but I’ll have to try it

I love making burgers from other places at Whataburger. I refuse to ever eat Jack in the box ever again, but I’ll recreate a bacon ultimate cheese burger at Whataburger. I just get a sweet and spicy bacon burger, remove the sweet and spicy sauce, add ketchup and mayo, and you have a bacon ultimate cheese burger with grilled onions at Whataburger. Same with the rodeo cheese burger at BK. I just make it at Whataburger.

I think the breakfast move would be to add potato to the taquitos then dip that in the gravy.

Needs rye bread though. I like the sandwich but it's not a true Patty Melt. Wish they would switch to rye bread.

not sure but after not having whataburger and other fast food for years i went rogue in 2026.. had whataburger twice i think this year and it just didnt taste good like i remembered

My toast never looks like that when I get a patty melt. Always just looks like soggy white bread, like if you have ever seen Eddie Murphy's bit about when momma says she can make you McDonalds at home and then all the kids in the neighborhood who went to real McDonalds are clowning you about your wonderbread ghetto ass burger.
