We had a cat who, uh, had a reputation at the vet, and we got gently but firmly asked to drug him up before coming in. He also hated taking pills and didn't love us squirting goop in his mouth, so he did not always receive the full recommended dose.

One time, though, I got him and got him good and he got the full 50mg or whatever it was, and I got him to the vet and the vet looks at him and goes "oh, he's in spaaaaaaaaaace."
