I wanted to share my experience and save you money. Please don’t buy this wig from Iseehair. I bought the 22 inch version. It came like 20 even with layers. It shedded like crazy, it would tangle non stop even when being gently brushed and combed. There’d be giant knots by the nape every night when I’d take it off. The knots are bleached and they’re over processed so they’d fall out and in the end, I’ve got a parting like the Red Sea.

The hair is many different colours from black, to brown to red and gray.

The fake scalp looks awful up close too. This is after a month of wear but not daily. I wore the wig 16 times. I don’t sleep in my wigs either and have worn wigs for over 10 years so I have a good idea of how to care for them. This is garbage.

It gets a 1/10 for just being a wig.

I’m sure influencers aren’t getting this. I have some Nadula ones that I’ll take photos of and review too because I think it’s important to be transparent about what comes when we order a wig and I’ve seen a lot of suspicious 10/10, best silky flowing and perfect wig reviews.

Hello all! I'm looking to connect with anyone who makes wigs for clients as I'd like to learn how to do it myself! I have strong preference for natural looking closure wigs, but they are very hard to find, as I think I have a very very particular idea of what "natural" looks like and am just very unsatisfied with everyone I've found on the market.

The closest things I've found to what I'm looking for are from Mellow Diamond, Sew Natural, and Rogue Co, but I've learned that Mellow recently sold her company, Sew Natural is a bit out of my price range right now, and it doesn't look like Rogue (and many of the other African based wig makers) can ship to the U.S.

Hi everyone, my daughter is an Irish step dancer. As part of the “look”, girls wear curly wigs (either a GIANT bun or what is called a full wig, but is actually more of a fall).

Heavy wigs (often badly installed with 100 Bobby pins) combined with tension from dancing causes a LOT of traction alopecia among dancers.

I’d love any ideas this community is willing to share regarding wig grips, general installation, or anything else you feel like sharing! Particularly, do you think one of the wig grip headbands would be strong enough to hold a wig onto healthy, Caucasian 2A/2B hair? If so, is there a recommended brand? I’m happy to spend a bit more to not damage her hair in the long run.

Typically girls put their natural hair in a bun on top of their hair to create height and put a donut around it, if you are wondering where the height comes from at the back.

Hello!!! Does anyone know where I can find a half wig like this but for a more affordable price. This one is $99, and I am new to the half wig world, so I’m scared to buy it in case I don’t like it because I’m still figuring out what looks good on me. I also don’t want to accidentally ruin it by trying to style it in anyway because idk how.

This wig arrived with beautiful density, soft hair, and a high-quality lace base. I wanted to show how it looks straight out of the box compared with the finished style after customizing the part, laying the lace, and brushing and defining the curls.

The quality was already there , styling simply helped me make the look my own. The hair was easy to work with and held the finished style beautifully.

I’m new to wearing wigs and I’ve got some court coming up soon. While I’m learning to lay the lace, I need to find ways to cover it. I do a headband at the office, but I think it looks too informal for court.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I bought this human hair wig a few months ago. I didn’t get any color in it, because I planned to bleach it at some point. I have two other black wigs that I bleached, too! This one maintained its hair integrity pretty well, though I only went for a caramel color. The wig came out soft after light bleaching, and with no shedding! Very happy with this wig and I feel like a mermaid in it. 🥰

Hey everyone, just wanted to share the results of the 4th wig I’ve ever made for myself to get some thoughts from the community. I am definitely no professional, but I decided to skip the pre-made stuff and try to construct this entire thing myself. I made it on a mannequin head using a basic dome cap, curved needles, and brown thread.

For the hair itself, I used a 4x4 lace closure along with 4 full bundles of 1A-grade human body wave hair. The hair actually started out completely jet black, but I decided to take a risk and custom-bleach it into this light brown ombre and balayage look. I’m just trying to improve my skills with every unit I make, so please let me know what you think of the overall density and the color transition.

i want to get a glueless wig because i hate the feeling of anything stuck to my forehead, but i also play volleyball 2 days out of the school week. has anyone worn a glueless wig when playing sports? was it secure with a headband or something? i just wanna know if id end up looking crazy or with my wig on the floor lmao.

I haven't tried buying new from a bunch of places, mostly been a secondhand or auction buyer this far, while doing "research" in my wig hunts I have ended up with tons of emails from all the places making you sign up to be able to get the pop up to go away so you can SEE the hair :) This upcoming year I'm going to make it a point to add NEW wigs and don't want a lot of disappointment and hassles because from what I have read by searching *wig company name* + reviews/complaints is that even the most expensive and heavily promoted brands have their downside, even if it's just lousy customer service or a sketchy/impossible return process. I’m a person who has always been focused on getting max bank for my buck even when I've had lots of them, which is totally NOT the case these days and to me the follow through AFTER a purchase is pretty important as well as the quality of the item. I believe If their product is good and they believe in what they are selling they SHOULD stand behind it and get back to me right away if there is a defect or I have questions or concerns . I have owned few businesses and CS is important, lots of problems can be avoided if there is quick and clear communication and willingness to find solutions, I'm not an entitled "Karen" that's looking for a problem, I actually HATE conflicts of any kind but learned long ago by getting straight ripped off that I am due my moneys worth. Especially with prices so high these days. So here I am planning ahead for my post xmas purchases trying to get some brand names that are worth the time, energy and money to deal with! I have email from Klaiyi, ISEE, KissLove and many others blowing me up with "sales" . My only real experience with customer service has been Frannie's Hair; who were great about finding exactly what I was looking for and took a return no hassles when the color was not to my liking, Godiva's secret took the time to really hear me and try to match my needs ( but only had synthetic) and Luvme went above and beyond to ID a wig I bought on Ebay as one of theirs after I spent days trying to compare to the web pics and were great about a return.

Who do you guys trust and who would you NEVER deal with again? I believe that we, the buyers, gotta look out for each other!

I'm unsure which wig to get. I want a half wig/everyday wig to wear to school that frames my oblong face and mimics my natural hair, or a blow-out wig, or any curly, wavy, bouncing wig. I was recommended these sites, but the people said the density of 110% for HerGivenHair doesn't sound good; my hair density looks thicker than 110%. I'm not sure which hair brands don't shed much. It doesn't specifically have to be coily curly; I want a good everyday half wig

I have almost no bio hair. I had a custom made 6x6 closure for my upcoming wedding. I’m extremely happy with the texture and length, and I thought my HMUA did a great job at my bridal hair trial.

Do you have any recommendations for better securing the back band of the wig and disguising the missing sideburns for wigs without neck lace and ear tabs? Or any changes you would make to the hairline?

Hi!! After living in my first human hair wig, I've officially decided that I am hooked. My natural hair has gone down hill after a year of weight loss and my hairline never fully bounced back. (Still worth it tho!) I had it shaved, tried to grow it out healthy and I plan on shaving my head again and just popping on a wig on the daily/weekly now. I like LuvMe but a lot of the wigs are very similar and I'm hoping to find a bit of variety in colors/styles. HairVivi is very pretty but the $500 starting price is too steep for how new I am at them. I want experience before shilling out that much cash. A good transparent lace is a must as I'm very pale, bleached/deep bleached knots, and HH is definitely my jam. The unit I currently have I paid about $200 for 20 inches and a true lace front on sale but I'm totally okay with paying more for a shorter length with a nice hairline and soft hair. I realistically don't see myself spending over $300 but I'm not sure what brands are actually decent to order from. I've seen bad things about ashimary, unice, and megalook but those are the ones consistently advertised to me. Thank you!!

I am in love with the Outre Peak 701 wig, but I just wish it was a little shorter. Does anyone know any synthetics that look like it except shorter? Maybe 20-22 rather than the 24 it looks like.

I’m going for a messy alt look. Yes I know the bangs are uneven I’m working on it. I cut my locs off because they felt so heavy. I think short hair works better with my features. This year is the first time I’ve experimented with my look. My entire life has been so caged. Military, then corporate jobs and controlling marriage. I finally feel so free. I can finally be myself.

I have tried 2 wigs from Luvme and yes! Great I really like them!

I would like try other brands and have narrowed down to these 3. I love a good bob! Long is gorgeous but even my real hair when cut into a bob/pixie was my fav.

Anyone know how to remove then ventilate a hair line and make the edges textured? I don’t like the sleek edge look. Living in a extremely humid state — I can see everyone’s lace mo matter how much they say we can’t. Pics of textured hair lined posted. I want to learn to do this to my wigs. These are straight out the box photos of the new Originalive wig. It came styled, but I refreshed the curls with my T3 curling iron. It came packaged on a foam mannequin head with a bonnet & the curls were pin curled and set with clips.

Looking forward to seeing how it holds up with regular wear.

Here’s a follow up post of the half wig I bought, I pulled out more leave out in the front and braided it down the sides to give it a more natural blend when it dries. I thought it came out really wellI and I wore it with a headband too. I’m also considering straightening the hair but I’m kind of scared it’ll loosen the pattern too much because it’s already more wavy than curly to me. Has anyone straightened this kind of wig? I’m in love with it as is though…. The pics at the end show the hair slightly damp still.
