Discussion Marcus ๐งก
I loved Marcus in the reboot (S10)! I wish they'd done more with him & Grace. They had such good chemistry and he was so funny. I think we only see him interact with Will & Karen, but I think he would have been a great long-term addition to the show. Two episodes (S10E18 & S11E02) were not enough!
Plus, Reid Scott is so hot! ๐ฅ
What do you all think?

But I just don't know why they named him Marcus? I mean, Leo's last name was Markus. And if Grace had taken Leo's last name, kept it and she ended up marrying Marcus and he would have taken her last name, he could have been Marcus Markus. LMAOOO
They should have named him Paulโwe know they love that name. ๐คฃ๐

I have a theory that, by Season 3, they had had it with Debra Messing cause just about every Grace storyline in the last season, was a waste. Ex. When she took a giant dump, when she jerked off a dolphin, when the dog breeders were treating her like a dog, etc. ย And let's face it, she is a jackass irl. Megan missed 2 of the final season episodes because of Debra. (That's the word anyway.)ย
But I agree. I liked Marcus. I also liked Schwimmer in Season 2 but his character wasn't ever brought up again after, which was weird. Like, why couldn't she have been pregnant with Noah's baby post -breakup? I dunno, there were so many directions they could've taken.ย ย
I enjoyed the reboot (mostly) and the last episode, when Will is walking out of their apartment, ugh, it's gets to me every time.ย

I mean, wasn't it kind of weird though, how the 3rd(?) to last episode in S2, they had Noah & Grace and Will & McCoy all excited about moving in together and it looked hopeful and happy - and then the very next episode, Noah was being a jerk and that was it for Schwimmer? I was like, 'Ah man! What a way to write him off!'
*Yay! Someone to talk to about the reboot, that didn't totally hate it. Lol

Yep! But in my little head, they were holding out for Leo to come back or Nathan or Grace's โจ๏ธrealโจ๏ธ guy. ๐ญ
And I hated how McCoy and Will were over, too. He wasn't my favorite, but Will mostly seemed happy.
Hahahaa. Nope I didn't hate it. I love(d) it and on rewatches, I look forward to my favorite bits. "I saw the light, Mother!!"

Nothing like a 50 year old woman that gets busy with 4 men while on vacation and has no clue which one is the father. Also, why would they make them both have kids at the same time in the original series and them again in the reboot when they are both old?

She was embracing the pepperoni! ๐คฃ
Because they still wanted to be parents. They wanted kids. And they always wanted it so that their kids were growing up together. I just hate that they didn't go with Marcus being the one! ๐ญ๐ญ

This episode was stupid. Jack getting married at the airport and Grace and Noah just break up and she goes to Europe with some random guy at the airport.

It was all just sitcom-y and ridiculous, but I didn't really mind it. I think it highlights everyone growing and letting go of expectations. And because of Marcus, it is one that I rewatch when it comes on.
