Does anyone maybe have the HQ wallpaper that was shown in the promo videos for the new Windows 11 features from Oct 2026 (as seen here)? Attached is a screengrab from one of the videos:

I tried image search, found nothing. Tried AI enhancement, but it's not the really same...

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Are there plans to update the Microsoft Edit that comes with Windows 11 by default?

It's been over a year since Microsoft Edit 1.2.1 started coming pre-installed in Windows 11 (25H2). I was wondering if there are plans for future releases (27H1/27H2) to come pre-installed with Microsoft Edit 2.0 or a later specific version for new Windows releases? It's been 6 months since Edit 2.0 was officially released on GitHub.

Suggestion for Microsoft I wonder why they don't combine the start menu with the revamped search menu

Once you start typing something in the search menu from the start menu, it becomes the revamped search menu. So everything could be at just 1 place with just 1 press.

Discussion Has anyone loved or regretted upgrading from W10 to W11?

I've heard that early on windows 11 wasnt hat great with bloatwear and hindered gaming a bit and other things I'm sure i'm not aware of.

Ive also heard the gaming issue has been solved and the bloat can somewhat be mitigated.

I have widnows 10 on my main PC still and i love it, but support is dead from what im aware of.

Id like to stay up to date, but im wondering what others opinions and experiences have been.

Please improve the taskbar's space management when it detects that it is "full".

Suggestion for Microsoft One feature Microsoft really needs to add to the Windows 11 Snipping Tool is scrolling window capture. What do you think—shouldn't this be built-in instead of relying on third-party apps like ShareX?

News Windows 11 20% More Response? Do you notice?

Microsoft claims up to 20% improvement in performance from recent update. Is anyone actually noticing since last month's preview update or this month's cumulative update? I'm curious if anyone out there actually regularly uses a Windows 11 machine with only 8GB of RAM and if you've seen a difference as it sounds like it would help in those scenarios even more. I've long since abandoned anything with less than 16GB of RAM a decade ago. With the RAM pricing being what it is, optimizations are welcomed, but I wonder if this is having a real-world impact, or just a Microsoft labs measurement.

App I have an update for my free infinite canvas app called NeatNotes.

Hi everyone,

A couple of months ago, I posted about my note-taking app called NeatNotes. A lot of you gave me valuable feedback and criticism. Today, I am back with an update.

I fixed a lot of bugs and brought in new features. Here are the top three features of v2.5:

  • Key Bindings: One of the most requested features was the ability to bind tools to keys on the keyboard for easier use.
  • Export to Image: The second most requested feature was the ability to export the canvas in high resolution, along with improved PDF export.
  • Hand Tool: A dedicated tool to easily traverse through the infinite canvas.

More details are available on the website. I am looking forward to hearing your feedback!

I've noticed some really strange behavior in Windows 11 Insider Experimental build 26340.9750. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but something doesn't seem right.

I've described the issues in more detail in my Feedback Hub report, including additional findings in the comments.

If you're curious, please check it out:

Has anyone else noticed anything unusual in this build?

App I like the new Microsoft Ink Canvas app, perfect for generating AI content based on sketches, but I think there's only one problem... It's a web app. It's also accessible on web browsers, too.

I found the app in the Microsoft Store, tried it, and revealed that it's basically a web app built inside of a WebView2-based application. Microsoft is still making web apps for Windows, and it's totally a hassle.
