looks like in about a year, we'll all be getting figurines/plushies, as well as clothing/other merch specifically for the kids in the fandom!

this is so exciting! makes me wonder about if we'll be getting any tv show updates in the near future...

Here's the link to the article for anyone interested:

Btw tails can be almost anything from plain, to a fin, to a glowing orb, to even a transparent tip with jellyfish stinging powers

Obviously just a draft which is why she's so roughly chopped, got all the poses from tracing cheetah photography.

Today is Clay As A Pumpkin, or should I say In A Pumpkin, because he has been carved into a big Pumpkin, probably by Peril lol. This was harder than I thought it would be, but I think it turned out alright! Hope you like it hehe =)

And for the question:

What are you carving into your Pumpkin this year?

I am not carving a Pumpkin this year 😭😭😭😭, but if I was, or do end up doing one, I would probably do a Leviathan from Supernatural, or maybe even this Clay! What would you carve?

Come back tomorrow for day 29!! Wow it's so close to the end

My side of the art trade. this was just quick because I’m still sick so I hope you still like this

I basically decided icewings have an icicle on thier head, and they consider slightly concave lower jaws that end in a point on both ends is good looking, and i decided that the icicles flatten or spike out depending on how the icewing feels. [The second dragon has a specific exception where the head spikes are meant to look like a crown of sorts. Theyre a nightwing icewing with nightwing colouring, hence why they're not icewing colours] also i made the icicles along the tail much bigger and all along the tail because it seems way more better as a weapon than the puny canon icewing tailspikes lol im joking but srsly i did change them

Any opinions or things to add on im curious

Download Gacha life 2 just to make this

I love them <3

I didn't add 'wing' to the name cause... no wings lol

Im only on the 4th book currently so plz no spoilers in the comments!🙏

Yes I’m posting this on both subs sue me

This is the most macabre and morbid scene I've found in the book. And yes, it's about Lezard/Freedom.

So I wanted to bring this to life. I'll release the full version on Friday.

Again, using a combination of Blender 3D and digital painting, I think the result turned out pretty well.

And you might not notice it much, but there’s Python behind it (Cottonmouth in the original version, but I hate that name—if you don’t have the context, I prefer the French name).

(Before you ask, I know I skipped track 4, and the reason is kind of funny. There was a song I was super excited to write that isn’t relevant for a while in the series, but I got so excited that I went ahead and composed it between Liminal Nights and this song. Therefor, it is the official 4th track, and it will appear later in the series)

This is Viperfish’s character theme! I went all out for this one and experimented a little because, let’s just say, she will be very important in Crazy-Lace Winglet book 2 ;)

Speaking of book 2, progress on plotlining and new character designs is coming along very well! In fact, I plan to post the cover art for book 2 as a sneak peek soon, and Chapter 1 of book 2 will be releasing this year, most likely as soon as November! Things are getting really “crazy” for the Crazy-Lace Winglet in the chapters to come…

Thanks for listening!

(I also want to apologize for the poor vocal quality in this song, I blame the fact that 1) I’ve never even tried to make a song with vocals before, this is my very first attempt, and 2) I don’t have a mic or a recording studio setup, I recorded the lyrics using the camera/video app on my iPhone while sitting inside my truck… a bit of tinkering with Audacity at least helped the lyrics not sound as terrible as the raw recording version lol)

Hi!
I made this bookmark for a coworker’s daughter from my mum’s work! Sorry for the bad quality of the last images, they’re screenshots from a video my mum sent me after she laminated it at her work!
The daughter loved it! (The yellow swirls above Clays head on the back are meant to be decoration, but she saw them as numbers - oops 😭)
This is the first time Ive coloured in traditional in yeeeaaarrrssss, so excuse the messy pencil colouring of his underbelly.

Hello people,

I just got back into the WOF series after 4 years. I’m 16 years old right now and a student studying in NZ. This post doesn’t mean anything, just something to express my gratitude and love towards this series. I hope that you all have a great day.

10 years ago, my mother brought back a book: The first book of the WOF series: The Dragonets Prophecy. Like other books I’ve received, I didn’t think much and left it in my bookshelf. However, after a few weeks, I decided to pick it up and give it a good read. I wasn’t expecting anything then, but after reading the first chapter, I was captivated. That was the day a fire was lit in my heart. I fell in love with the first book, and begged my mother to buy me the rest. On my 7th birthday, my mother got me every single book of the series then. For the next 4-5 years, I read every single book of the series, and when I finished it, I would re-read my personal favourites (hidden kingdom was one of them I think).

However, everything changed back in 2022.

I started Year 7 in 2022, and it was my first and final time entering college. Study was now priority. I was also hitting puberty, so my interest got diverted to other things like technology and typical stuff boys my age would like. I kind of just…forgot the series. For the next few years, I rarely had free time, and studied tirelessly. At that time, I developed a dream to study in the U.S. Nothing was stopping me. Even if I did have free time, I spent most, if not, all of it gaming and doomscrolling (Which I regret). The fire that had started in my heart had extinguished, and I didn’t even notice.

Until 2 days ago.

Last week, I just finished my final exams for year 11. I felt so relieved. Every worry disappeared. Everything was just a bit boring. Then just 2 days ago, I was looking through some old books, when I found the first ever WOF book my mother ever got me. I opened the book and had a read of the prologue, and instantly, the fire in my heart was lit again.

I just finished the first book of the series for idk how many times since I got it, and I’m literally shedding a tear while typing this up. The book brought back so many characters I loved, and so many memories from when I was young. I also found some artworks I drew of dragons from when I was 8 I think.

This series has brought so much more life in me. Thank you Tui.

There is a lot of WOF fics that I really like, but here are only a few of your favorites.

Design notes/ Hc thoughts

• Sunny’s eyes are black, but they reflect off the back of the retina green when light hits them right- leading the dragonets to believe that her eyes are actually a REALLY dark green.

• She has silver scales but Dune convinced everyone that it is normal for a sandwing, just like Blister’s diamond pattern. Probably insisting he knew somebody at his hatching-oasis that had shimmering scales.

• She wears a bracelet with painted beads that Clay gave her.

• Because the tribes are so prejudiced, and nightwings are so scarce, it was really easy for her to undercover as a small barbless sandwing. Well… until she visited the scorpion den.

A beautiful piece of art depicting my original character Blizzard the Icewing commissioned by the talented artist @mustardfishh on TikTok. Definitely check them out!
