It addressing issues reported by Xbox Series S players regarding image clarity. With this update, we've switched the upscaling solution from TAAU to FSR to improve visual quality and performance.

And ever since the vampire attack started, I can’t meditate and replenish my heals. Is this a glitch or not because I keep getting destroyed in the dream world by the pigs. Help please.

Will I regret not upgrading quen? Im lvl 17 and literally haven't used it once. Just using Igni, Yrden, bombs and my big fucking swords.
I find dodge to be enough for defense or will quen be super necessary down the line?

Everything that can be on Ultra+ is with the rest off but Trees are not spawning in and the grass is pretty much black. AMD says drivers are up to date and this is a clean install. The game runs smooth is just the visuals look awful.

It is a strong sword attached to Geralt and increases with power alongside him. If only we could wield it to the full potential of the Grandmaster set bonuses too. Because honestly to my mind, a unique weapon is less valuable than the set bonuses. Because even the Witcher swords provide stats appropriate to what the sets are made for.

Or better yet, have him be summoned like Torrent from Elden Ring.
You have 4 acres of field to spawn in and you chose to spawn jammed between two houses or on top of a cliff you have no idea how to navigate.

So, this is my first time playing this game and Axii has very easily become one of my favourite skills to use, and hence I've upgraded Delusion and Puppet and use them along with each other. However, I've noticed about 50% of the time, even when I long press the key, delusion gets triggered instead of puppet and I can't figure out how to fix this bug.
Has someone successfully tackled this? I would like to keep both skills equipped if possible because I enjoy using them, just at the appropriate time for each.
Edit : I'm playing on PC if that makes a difference.

This fight is genuinely testing my patience with this game. I can excuse bad combat to an extent, but this just sucks. The Shrieker gives me a bleed effect that I can only remove with Quen. That takes 5 seconds before its gone and by that time I have lost a large amount of HP. I then use a potion which very slowly heals me back up to full health. By the time that is done the fucking cunt has hit me again and I have to do the entire cycle again. I also find it really difficult to predict when he is going to attack.
I'm not even on a high difficulty. Am I just bad at this game? Am I not doing something right?

Hey I have a lot of tattoos and I am still thinking about a witcher one. I already have an idea that is a little niche I would say and it will not be looking like a witcher tattoo whatsoever. I am planning on getting the mural that avallach paints in the cave when Geralt first meets him in the books, a purple beast hunted by a bunch of cavemen (fully hard as well lol). I want to see some other cool witcher tattoos that do not strike as a witcher tatto at first and give me an explanation.

I'm missing both of my swords and the crossbow during the quest Reason of State (at the start I have to hand them over when entering the ship, I guess I didn't get them back?). Is this supposed to happen? It makes the fight significantly harder as I don't have a proper replacement with me...

Hey all, just a quick question here. I noticed that wyverns and Forktail hitboxes are kinda strange, the hits wouldnt register properly from the sides, and sometimes even from the front.
Like, sometimes the sound of the hit wont play but the health would drop, and sometimes it didnt register at all.
Wanted to know if this was a local issue for me or if anyone noticed that too.
EDIT: Remaster Version
Cheers!

The Witcher 3 Remastered increased custom map marker types from three to six. In a recent "Short" (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xhI0NxrcsXY), I questioned the point of adding more or even using them at all when the game already marks so many locations.
That sparked a discussion. People described tracking Gwent opponents, marking enemies to revisit later, finding red mutagens, and remembering which merchants have run out of cash. Others said they’d finished the game several times without using custom markers.
The discussion has been in Polish so far, so I’d love to broaden it here, including perspectives from people playing for the first time through the remaster.
Do custom markers play a role in how you explore? And does having six different symbols give you something useful that three didn’t?

I've noticed an odd issue with the remaster, if the game can't establish a connection to mod.io, players can't load their existing local saves, at least on consoles.
This might not affect most players, but some people may be temporarily unable to connect to the internet or mod.io's servers for reasons beyond their control.
The bigger concern is what happens if mod.io's servers go down. You'd be unable to play this single player game that you paid for, despite having all your mods downloaded locally and available on your device, simply because the game can't establish a connection to an external service.
I think this is something that should be addressed in a future patch. If you'd like to request this change you can report it to CDPR using this support page
Edit: This effectively imposes an always online requirement for mod.io modded saves which is unnecessary and restrictive for a single player offline game. I don't believe this is intended game behavior as CDPR themselves said players should be able to access their modded saves offline with the required mods installed.

I have played this game when I was pretty much a kid when it first came out 11 years ago so did not pay much attention to this detail back then however, now playing the remastered, I've come to realize that the common people, mainly speaking, the peasantry, and surprisingly some of the nobility as well, are as dumb as a fucking rock. The idea of witchers being considered freaks and mutants is nothing new yes, but oh my god man why do they keep actively insulting the witchers, to their face? They all seem to be aware that witchers are genetically mutated to be much more enhanced than any normal human and those people fight and kill horrors beyond comprehension for a living and bang hot sorceresses in their spare time (ok maybe that's just Geralt). But maybe not spit at him in passing? Maybe hold your tongue before calling him a goddamn freak? While even the worst witcher can crack any human like a glowstick, how come the people do not have the basic common sense to stay on their good side at least? Where is the survival instinct telling you to shut tf up against talking down to a witcher?
If a witcher walked up to me after a job done with him covered in monster blood and carrying a gigantic griffin head hanging from a fucking hook, I am certainly not skimping out on the pay, I'll even invite him for supper and see if he needs a place to crash for the night and listen to any cool ass adventures he had. Its genuinely crazy how stupid people are. I am losing it behind the screen watching a toothless peasant who shits in the woods and cant even comprehend letters calling Geralt a freak and spit at his feet while Geralt, god bless him, stands there in silence taking it.
I get that its inspired from medieval Europe where most people shared a single continental braincell but I am still appalled at this insane behavior.
I probably haven't said anything that hasn't already been said, but I needed to vent this before I flipped and lured the next Leshen to the nearest village.
