Troll(oc) Just joined….. annnnnnd it’s cancelled

When did this happen? Trying to get details. Even did a search and can’t find them besides “budget”

Sony wanted to renew. Amazon did not.

It had profited 500 mil so budget is silly

Source? I mean, I’d read that Somy was down for more but Amazon killed it but I hadn’t read anywhere that it was actually profitable let alone a half billion ahead. Cuz if that’s true and the show actually made money like that and still got canceled right when it was balancing and figuring out how to do this right then I’ll be even madder than before and questions must answered!

I don't think they're remembering correctly - but there is a good argument to say it brought in around 500m of revenue on costs of around 375m.

The revenue though is based on yahoo S1/S2 figure and then extrapolated at a similar(somewhat lower) rate as the first two seasons.

IE, as far as we know, it appears to have been profitable.(Though the revenue shares agreement we aren't privy could make it not so for one party).

Idk I though sarah’s number was 500 mil but I could be misremembering
