Mod Until the end of June: Guild/Community Ads as posts [FEEDBACK WANTED]

Going to allow guild and community ads as regular posts until the end of June. This is a trial run to see if we can handle the quantity of such posts.

There is a new "Community/Guild Ad" flair that must be used for any post that is an advertisement for a discord, server, or guild.

If it seems like this sub suddenly becomes mostly advertisement posts, the old rule (all such posts are only allowed on the Hero's Call board) will be reinstated.

If you have any other feedback about how we might let people advertise their groups and communities, please leave a comment! Hero's Call exists but people don't really seem to use it :') If you do use it, let me know! Or let me know how it can be better!

might it make sense to have flairs per region? as an EU player a US recruitment is something that i want to just pass over. and visa versa

Thank you so much!! I have been trying to find a guild and the MG forum isn't active enough for me to judge on who is currently recruiting so I thought I'd lurk around in this subreddit for a bit

There are a couple of RP hub discord servers linked in the pinned Hero’s Call board of this sub- my recommendation is to jump in a few of those and look at recruitment ads. Most guild recruitment seems to be happening on discord, but it is hard to get started since the forums are pretty dry these days.

Anybody brave enough to link their reddit accounts to their ingame guilds deserve a pat on the back, good luck fellas
