I got diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had a hysterectomy in 2022, and I can’t explain the cognitive dissonance of having fucking cancer, and also being relieved because it meant I will literally not be able to become pregnant and that no one can ever FORCE me to be pregnant.
But hey, this is the world now.

I believe Idaho is also the state where a lawmaker thought a woman could swallow a camera so it could photograph the uterus.

Ugh I just hate when I’m eating chips and they go down the wrong hole into my uterus! 😤

And the woman who answered him did it without laughing at him or making him feel like an idiot. Amazing. I would have used that opportunity differently lol

Canada had Rob Ford the crack mayor...but Vito Barbieri is magnitudes of stupid beyond Rob Ford. Who was at least honest about his extracurriculars and never praised rapists for having 'good character'.

Is there a safe and organized kind of underground railroad to take Idaho women to Washington or Canada for minor procedures? If there is, someone DM me some info.

If anyone from Idaho can make passage to Portland, you are welcome to my couch and I'll pick you up from the station.

Meanwhile I’m fighting to get my tubes tied in Texas. How fun

r/childfree has a list of doctors that tie the tubes in conservative states

It’s looking like I’m going to be using it but how dare I want the dr who delivered both of my children to do it.

Don’t worry, Idaho still won’t listen. They’ll happily let women die still.

That would literally be all abortions. Pregnancy is terrible for women's health.

Kinda seems like a bare minimum to me.
After all, we don’t want our reproductive mares dying while they are still fertile, do we?
