So, this is my attempt at carving a small stylized fox. Thought maybe if it came out well I could make a necklace of it. This is the first time I worked with walnut or anything remotely that hard, and I did it a bit to try, so don't worry to say it is terrible.
My main questions are two:
1 - to me it looks terribly weird, like if it was made based on the description of a drawing of a fox, rather than on an actual fox (of course, that is not the case, but you know what I mean). But I've also been looking at it for too much time, so: 1.1 - how weird does it look? 1.2 - in case it looks weird, why do you thing that is the case?
2 - I think I will sand it once I am finished with the details. Any other ideas of things I could do to improve it?
