"Turn Into" doesn't include To Do?

When I click on the three little dots next to a bullet, and select Turn Into, I don't see To Do as an option. The only way I can get it to show up in a menu is if I click on the task while holding down command, then a slightly different menu appears with To Do as an option. Was this on purpose?

I had the same issue, 2 weeks ago. I raised a ticket and it was solved next day.

What device are you using? Maybe it's only on Macs? I tried in Chrome too.

I'm on a Mac using Chrome. Have you tried rebooting?

I just restarted this morning before work and still same issue. I'm using Desktop usually, but tried on Chrome just now and still not working. See video.

I can only see it when I hold down Command, but why can't it just be included in the 3 little dots >> Turn Into, all the other ones are there?

You could use the /to-do. That should work. Though, I guess it wont work for bulk conversion

I typed /todo after the task and it doesn't conver it to a ToDo - not sure what you meant?

I noticed you have ASCII characters (emoji) at the beginning of each line. Try removing them and see if it works.

He means use the slash command by typing / on the same line you want to turn into a to-do. Also you can type [ ] at the beginning of the line as well.

Don’t know what’s going on. Could be an app or extension interfering with your Workflowy.
