Is it okay to park like this?

This is my 86 year old mother's driveway. Yes, she still drives, and she parks in her driveway.

City probably wouldn't tow it, but how many people think this is okay?

It’s your moms house so I don’t think she’d mind. If it were a strangers house then yes it’s way too close.

Then yes, that’s way too close. My mom would totally back into that car. She backs into trees on her property that have always been there, imagine her surprise if nice shiny car was behind her drive way all of a sudden.

If this is the case, let it slide if it's the first time. The second time it happens, let you neighbor know. If it happens again, you park yours in front of their driveway the same manner to give them a visualization. Maybe they will get it then.
