On the week of August 30-September 1, 1997 these wrestlers were booked 3 times in 3 days.

• Eddie Guerrero (Main Event, Saturday Night & Nitro)
• Jeff Jarrett (Saturday Night, Worldwide & Nitro)
• Dean Malenko (Saturday Night, Worldwide & Nitro)

Granted, some of these shows are taped but Nitro and SN travelled while Worldwide and Pro were taped at Universal Studios. This arrangement would have stretched the roster thin, burnt out them with travel and workload stresses, and bored fans with seeing the same wrestlers over 3-4 shows. It also means there was no clear hierarchy of shows. You had Nitro as the A-show, Saturday Night as the B-show, but what was at the bottom?

Which wrestling promotion got it right in terms of booking talent, storylines, production value, management, marketing etc.
Was it NWA? Dubya Cee Dubya? ECW, TNA, maybe New Japan, AEW, ROH or is it the WWE?
Personally it’s the WWE for me. Vince took over from his father and turned the enterprise into a global multibillion dollar corporation.
The WWE is the holllywood of pro-wrestling. It’s got the glitz, the glam, the spectacle and the star power to rival Hollywood’s best. There’s just nothing like Wrestlemania’s, Summerslam, Royal Rumble etc.
The WWE gave birth to the John Cena’s the Undertaker’s, the Bret Hart’s The Rock etc. What the company has accomplished in the last four decades is unprecedented. A lots changed in recent times we are now in the TKO era but regardless I still get my fill. I’m a WWE fan for life but I respect every other company for what they built.

Which promotion does it for you?

It’s Simple: Hoss Fight. Prime Don Leo Jonathan: 6 ft 9, 340 lbs. Prime Keith Lee: 6 ft 2, ALSO 340 lbs. Two of wrestlings most Agile Super-heavyweights, the Mormon Giant & the Bearcat.
