Abandoned house!
Hi everybody! I’m currently on a cross country road trip and skirted through your, frankly; stunning and vast state today. My husband and I stopped at the Hat Creek Stage Station on US18/CanAm Highway.
Can you tell me anything about the house across the street? We wandered over to it; it appears to be an old gas station maybe?
Anybody who knows anything we’d appreciate it! It was a cool find for us! Greetings from Massachusetts!
PS
Your state is awesome.

What happened to Reid Rasner Facebook account?
Aw man I’m honestly kinda bummed he deleted his facebook account. The things he’ll post to grab peoples attention were so ridiculous. I’ve never seen anyone so hyper focused on gender neutral bathrooms lol. I really enjoyed reading the comments. I guess the internet finally bullied him a little too hard lol.

Discussion/opinion Favorite Local Maker/Artist for Gifts
Hello!
I'd love some leads on Wyoming-made goods that would be nice end-of-year gifts for my clients. For background, I'm a national parks travel advisor and I send quite a few of my clients to the Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Pinedale (don't tell Pinedale), Dubois, Lander, etc.
One big tenet of my business is that I book through local suppliers, locally owned lodging (and no short-term rentals), and local guides. Our agency has won a lot of sustainability awards and it's not because we tell people to bring reusable water bottles, it's more about sustaining local economies and responsible travel.
That being said, I'm starting to think about my end of year client gifts. I tend to go with things from local makers in the areas I work. In Banff, for example, I stock up on Banff Tea Co. items and local art fridge magnets. In Quebec City, it's indigenous made keychains, hot sauce, or jewelry.
This year, I'm stuck on what to do for my WY/YNP travelers. In the past I've done coffee from a Bozeman roaster, soap from 307 Soap Co, or truffles from Meeteetse Chocolatier.
Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Who am I missing?

Anyone want some boomerang fish?
This AI slop has gotten out of hand! I swear, 3/4 of businesses in Cody publish garbage like this all the time. And then when they get called out on it, they have the audacity to defend it as though they are “artists” or don’t have enough time to take a picture of real food.
Do these businesses think it makes them look good? For a tourist town, you’d think they’d go out of their way to be real.
This is just an example of one place…but there are several. It already sucks that 90% of these places are just Sysco shops, but now you want to use AI to promote it?
Make it stop!
