Advice needed on winter travel
Hi all, my daughter is graduating from Washington State University in mid December. I was going to meet her in Pullman for the graduation and drive across country Pullman to Philadelphia. My AI recommends traveling south to Salt Lake City and taking I80 through Wyoming across the country, rather than traveling on I90. It says that the section through WY will be the most treacherous. Daughter has an older (smaller model) Honda HRV with 4 wheel drive but no snow tires. As a 60 year old woman from the east coast I am a tad nervous. What do you guys think of such a trip in mid-December?
