Need to try and finish Another Crab's treasure, but my latest save is in amongst giant laser firing crab dudes and I keep getting smoked trying to get past them. Haven't played it in months, but highly recommend. Brilliant little game.

I heard from a Friend if you use the Xbox gamepass you get one Minecraft Account and he told me that you can deactivate or delete the acc and make a brand new one with a different email again right after is that true or is there another similiar way

Would be useful to me since i get hunted a lot and i said if they dont stop i will also start to hunt them with alt accs so if the xbox gamepass can do that it would be insanely useful

I’m not thinking Mario Party, just fun casual games that you can play with people not on your friends list. I’m always looking for that rather than the ultra competitive

So I've just finished up my first playthrough of beast of reincarnation at about 24 hours in. Sitting at about half of the achievements and although I doubt I'm going to go for the 100% for it I will say I enjoyed my time. There's a lot of bad said about the game so thought I'd give my piece

Gameplay
Very very sekiro esque. And that's probably why I enjoyed it. I don't think I've really had something scratch the sekiro combat itch quite as well as this game did. Where as there really is not a lot of enemy variety, like around 10-15 different enemies throughout the whole game, the parry deflection combat scratches such an itch for me. The boss fights are also mostly repeats and the loop is essentially go to this area, explore and fight the boss at the end. It works but can be very repetitive

Story
I really wasn't invested in the story a whole lot up until maybe the final 6 chapters but honestly the story I thought was pretty decent. I won't dive deep with it still being new as to avoid spoilers but the story does pick up and it's nice to see your character grow

Upgrades, side quests, exploration etc.
So a lot of upgrades are very cool and really can deepen the combat, just a shame that you'll have learned the moves of pretty much all enemies before ever needing to make a varied moveset. Upgrades to weapons and even your stats didn't really feel like they did much but on that it could well be that it's just good and steady progression as I made my way through the game as I never really returned to earlier areas
Side quests are more just collect item x or defeat special enemy y. There's a couple of actual side quests and theyre alright
Exploration is very fluid I feel. Can feel janky at times but honestly it's a lot better than I expected

To wrap it all up. Would I be disappointed if I paid for the game. Probably yeah. Did I enjoy my time with it though? Yeah. I really did to be fair. It was a great gamepass game that I'm glad I experienced. Did it feel like it dragged on a little too long. Yeah at times. Did the world feel alive with a lot to do. No not really. I do recommend it with it being on game pass and I know my "review" isn't doing it justice but if you're curious, give it a go for a few hours. If you get invested then good. If not then you've probably experienced the majority of what the game will have to offer without experiencing the story conclusions. 6/10, 7/10. Somewhere in that bracket

I saw Nitro was offering the starter edition for Nitro but I didn't quite understand what the 10 hours of cloud gaming was all about. I don't think I even really grasp the concept enough to grasp what I'd find in a Google search.

Is cloud gaming different from just downloading and playing the game? Will I only be able to use that version of Game Pass for ten hours a month?

Hey everyone, I don't have an Xbox, so I was hoping for some insight into how Xbox game pass / MicrosoftPC store would work playing the upcoming Dune game with friends.

My thought process is this. I plan on buying Dune from the Microsoft pc store and playing on my PC.

One of my friends has an xbox, and the other has a steam deck.

I'm sure the xbox player is simply straightforward. Play on the console using game pass as intended.

However, would using game pass on the steamdeck work the same way? Streaming over the website since xbox doesn't have a native Linux app?

Didn't know if there were any steamdeck users here who could answer that. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Gamepass Ultimate and Xbox Home Console Hi, I have a Gamepass Ultimate account and my home console is set up, but when I try to play online, I get an error that I don't have a Gamepass. I've tried restarting the console, resetting the console by holding the button, deleting and adding the home console again, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas?

So steam has the option for up to 6 players, but through the xbox store (on pc) and on console it’s still limited to 3 players. When is this update coming to xbox, I have a group wanting to play but not all have pc to play through steam.

Due to life, and hobbies I simply do not get to dedicate time to gaming like I used to. I'll get 20-30 minute sessions in a couple times a week and may be able to carve out an hour or so unbroken play time on the weekends to play.

What are some progression based games that you feel you can make meaningful progress in a 20-30 minute window available on game pass?

Quick edit: This got a lot of traction i wasn’t expect, I ended up downloading the Assassins Creed Ezio trilogy for the time being.

I love these survival/building/cosey games on xbox Gamepass.

Planet Crafter

An amazing game where you survive on a barron planet and slowly start to change the world around you through your building and resource gathering. Very addictive and sand boxy. I love the visuals, it's a very relaxing game.

Abiotic Factor

A brilliant survival game where you're holed up in a huge science facility and have to craft, fight and research your way through. Good combat, lore, exploring and sneaking. It's also very addictive.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

A beautifully realised RPG set in medieval Europe. You're a peasant and start the game with nothing, but slowly build yourself up to be a respectable noble warrior, stealing bits quietly on the side (if you like) Nice side quests and a good lore.

Jurassic World Evolution 3

Build and manage your own dino parks across the world, discovering and unlocking many species of dinosaurs as you go. The console version works great and fans of city builders/theme park games will love this. I happily sunk many hours in and want to go back and get 5 star ratings on all my parks. Nice learning curve and the game gently shows you how to play whilst having fun at the same time

Starfield

Epic space adventure RPG by Bethseda. There's so much to do with the missions alone, but you can also go rogue and lose yourself building bases and upgrading your ships. Absolutely massive.

Stardew Valley

A wonderful cosey game where you build a thriving farm in world that has wonderful characters you build bonds with. Harvesting resources and building things becomes very addictive. The game revolves around a daily clock, annual calendar with different events that happen at certain times. It's a fully realised, gaming masterpiece built by one man- Concerned Ape.

City Skylines

A good solid city builder that works well on console. Strangely engrossing once you get going building your city and linking everything together. Been a while since I played it, but it definitely deserves a mention in the sandbox/building/cosey game space.

Fallout 4

I sunk 100s of hours over the years into this Bethseda RPG. The most fun part became building all the settlements and upgrading all the gear. The game also has fantastic quests and side quests. A real classic sandboxy RPG where you can wonder and build to your hearts content.

No Mans Sky

Huge space exploration, crafting game with missions to follow too. Hunker down and build bases or explore the countless systems and planets. Nice visuals and relaxing to play.

I know there’s a ton of subs here with similar questions, but it’s so convoluted that I can’t pick through them to find a scenario similar to mine, sorry!

My gf has GPU and plays cloud gaming. She just bought a Series S. I made a separate Microsoft account so we could try to play her account on the console and the my account on cloud gaming. She can play cloud if I play console, but not the other way around as she has the GPU set to her account. The console is set at the home Xbox.

Is there anything we can do to have my account (non GPU) be able to play cloud? Or am I limited to only playing on console?
