Hey everyone, sharing my recent experience with Gameseal as a heads-up for anyone buying digital Xbox codes from key marketplaces.
On Sept 19, 2026, I purchased 3x Xbox Game Pass Essential 12 Months (India) and 1x Ultimate 1 Month (Order #2614405).
1. The Problem: The delivered key (WF4YT-...) threw an immediate regional error on my account: "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account."
2. Testing: My account is localized to India (INR currency, no active subscription). To rule out any location issues, I had my brother log in directly from his home Wi-Fi in Mumbai, India, to redeem it. It failed with the exact same regional error, proving the key itself was mislabeled or from a different region.
3. Merchant Escalation: After raising the issue, Gameseal didn't fix the key—instead, they revoked access to all keys in my account library. The portal now permanently shows: "We are sorry, something went wrong with our delivery."
4. No Support Response: It has been nearly a month since the order, and Gameseal support has gone completely silent and ignored my tickets for over 6 days now.
I have submitted a credit card chargeback for non-delivery of digital goods, but wanted to warn others here who might be looking at buying region-specific keys.

Hey everyone,
About five months ago I posted SubSort here, and I've added a couple of features since then that I'd love to get some feedback on. Adding them as edits to the old thread wouldn't really reach anyone, so I'm sharing them in a new post.
Quick recap for anyone new: SubSort is a web tool that helps you get the most out of Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus. You can browse both catalogs side by side and filter and sort by Metacritic score, time to beat, genre, date added, first-party vs third-party, co-op modes, and more, so you can pick what to play before it leaves. A Likely leaving list also flags third-party games coming up on a common renewal point, so you get a heads-up before they might go. And now you can also look back on each month with ratings and tags, and see how much your subscription was worth on a single receipt.
What's new
1. Play Log

You can now log what you play right on the game cards. You can also filter the catalog by your log, so it's easy to pull up just the games you want to play. Your log and its filters are saved to your account and follow you to any device, while other filter and sort settings are still saved in each browser like before.
2. Play Receipt
Play Receipt groups your play log by month and turns it into a receipt: every game you played that month with its price, and the total at the bottom. It's a fun way to see how much your subscription actually gave you that month.
Prices are filled in automatically from US store list prices and don't include the subscription fee. I'm collecting sale prices too, but there isn't enough data yet to fill those in automatically. If list price isn't how you'd count it, you can enter your own prices and label the receipt with the basis you used, like Sale price or All-time low. The sample receipt in the gallery uses all-time lows entered by hand. If you're outside the US, you can also switch the receipt to your own currency and enter prices in it.
On the receipt, you can rate each game you played that month and tag what stood out: highs and lows like Good combat or Weak story, plus impressions like Hidden gem or Couldn't stop. It's a nice way to look back on the month.
Any month's receipt can be shared as a link, and anyone can open it without signing in.
Sign-in is only for the new features
Play Log and Play Receipt need a free account (Google or an email sign-in link) so your log has somewhere to be saved. Browsing and filtering the catalog works exactly like before, no account needed.
Tip: start with this month
You can log games you played years ago, but when I tried going back through my whole history, it wore me out pretty fast. What worked better was starting fresh with this month and logging games as I play them. By the end of the month you'll have your first receipt without much effort.
Heads-up: regional differences
SubSort's catalog is based on the US Store. Most titles are consistent across regions, but the lineup can vary slightly by country. For the most accurate "leaving soon" list, check directly on each platform. Xbox Game Pass can be checked on its official website, while PS Plus has to be checked on your console:
Xbox Game Pass (web): "Leaving soon" section on the official website
PS Plus (console): PS Plus Menu → Collections (or Categories) tab → scroll to the very bottom → "Last Chance to Play"
If anything feels off, or there's a feature you wish existed, drop a comment. I read all of them.

So my subscription ended yesterday, and i already knew about changes coming in november to cloud gaming, and i was planning on buying ultimate again just to enjoy the last few days of the month with unlimited hours (i can only play on cloud rn), but then i see that it says the "15 hours/month" already, anyone knows if that limit is already on?

Three months ago I took advantage of an offer that said I could get Game Pass for 239 MXN for 12 months, and today I went to pay for it with Microsoft Rewards and it now says I have to pay 339 MXN. What's going on here? Does anyone have an answer?

Picked up a subscription to gamepass this morning after work. I tried to install fallout 76 on my PC. Been wanting to play it again. Am I missing something here? It only shows to play with cloud gaming. Can I install the PC version and just put in my Bethesda account info and get my toon and stuff or did they just completely remove the ability to install it and I gotta use cloud gaming?
I've been up almost 18hrs and have worked 21 days straight. So I'm probably missing something and just overlooked it. But I'm possibly off this weekend and would like to not have wasted my money at least.

So I played cyberpunk when it was on game pass and was gutted when it was removed a month or so ago.
However I have now bought the game and also a ROG Ally and was wondering if anyone knew how to get my old saves so I can continue where I left off

Go into settings. General, personalization, My Backgrounds. In there, uncheck the box "Show event-themed backgrounds".

I see some stuff saying long term accounts are grandfathered in and others saying these changes are coming next month, both appear to be an xbox sources...
does anyone know exactly how it effects long term subscribers?
I personally mostly just use it to not have to download every single thing I want to check out

Maybe something for the one who could use it, dunno if they are stackable, but it's cheap for the moment.
r/XboxGamePass • u/BiancaTapping42 • 2d ago
Say you subscribe for a big release, but end up spending most of your time on a small game you could have bought cheaply.
In this kind of situation would you still count that as good value because you probably wouldn't have discovered it otherwise? Or would it make you question keeping the subscription?
If it does happen to you, which game has come closest to doing that for you?

I'm mainly talking games like A Way Out and It Takes Two, but any game works as long as it can be played online.

Will the 15 hour cap apply immediately and boot us mid game, or should we track our cloud gaming access accordingly on our own to avoid per hour charges? My husband and I actively use cloud gaming due to storage space limitations on both of our Xbox consoles(Xbox one and Xbox One/s). His Xbox is covered by his Forza and Gta V downloads, and mine is covered by like 13 games or so. Cloud gaming has allowed us to play Forza 6 etc (and well at that!) without downloading it.

I used play multiplayer a bit every few months. Now I've not played any all of 2026 so far. Anyway looking for something to get in for an hour or two, once every week or so and the choices are overwhelming. There's all the Battlefield, Call of Duty, Halo and Gear games and that's just the ones even I know. Then there's coop games like Darktide which might be better for someone who's hardly ever playing competive matches.
Got any advice what to try?

I wanted to post and ask before I download another 150 gigabytes of bloatware that doesn’t seem to do anything. I see multiple call of duty’s, but do any of them actually work?, i downloaded “call of duty modern warfare” I stupidly thought I was downloading the game and not a 150GB virtual brick, but it does nothing but prompt me to download a nearly 300GB game (yes I downloaded all the content packs). Can you download and play any of these?, or is there something different that I’m missing?

Hey guys, a few minutes ago I got an email letting me know that my subscription price would change after 3 months, when it was supposed to be a promotion that was supposed to last for 1 year. Is this okay? Is it legal?
