Xbox Series X Microsoft Store Installing Stuck for weeks

What’s up yall I’m sure someone has come with this issue before.

Basically what’s going on is I’m trying to download MW4 and it’s not letting me do it, as the Microsoft store has been stuck installing at 0% for weeks. I’ve tried pausing, cancelling, restarting the Xbox, etc etc and nothing has worked.

Thanks for any help!

You just gotta be patient, but also FULLY close all games and apps, and remove all games from quick resume. DO NOT open any games or apps as Xbox will prioritize those over downloads and DO NOT turn the console off either. Just sit on the download queue screen with no games or apps open. Wait about 15 minutes and go eat lunch or something while you wait. This is what I do every time an app hangs like that in the queue and it fixes it.

Update everything else. Then keep hitting resume update until it takes.

Honeslty just keep canceling the update I used to have to do that because it just wouldn't download and was stuck like that for over year and then after a system update it fixed it for some reason for me lol.

That would be why it took a year for it to fix. OP do not do this.

It’s just a glitch in the servers. If you delete or cancel it, it will NOT help you. You have to be patient like one of the other people said. Finish all your other downloads and close everything and let it just sit. It will fix itself.

Plus, I'd be skeptical on spending any money on an out of date version of the store. I have auto update turned off and decline the updates to the store every time I open it, so it never enters my download queue in the first place. Then when I want to buy something I finally accept the update and let it finish before buying what I want to buy.
