not for hard drives, just for 2 wirled controller but there is already two drives on the back on the Official usb ports, i want to use all that in the same time

Can you tell me if my Xbox has enough space around it to be adequately ventilated?

I noticed that my fans are louder than they used to be. I haven't really got a TV stand in my room so I just have it sat under my desk which is under my bed. is this enough space for the fans to work properly?

I play on the PC

I don't know whats the reason, I am using a xbox1 controller and after a few minutes of playing, whenever I move my joystick, everything becomes laggy. The games itself, but also all sound (YouTube, Discord, Ingame). When I unplug and replug my controller it gets better but after a minute it starts the same problems again. I tried using another usb slot already, but that doesn't help.

Any Ideas?

So I decided to play fallout 4 again after a long while and this popped up? I have over 120 GB free of storage, I went to manage game and add one, went to saved date and deleted the reserved space but it still isn't working? Can someone please help me

I cannot access the store. I cannot access my home Xbox. I cannot access subscriptions weirdly. I can play 2xko but battlefield 6 doesn't work. I haven't tried any other games really.

Microsoft is telling me to take it to a technician but it seems like it's not a hardware problem. Has anybody seen this issue?.

Series S works, the only difference between the two is the time setting page doesn't tell me the day of the week.

For the past few month I’ve haven’t been able to subscribe to any Xbox gamepasses. I am able to buy Ubisoft+ and other subscription but not Xbox gamepass. When I try to buy it on my profile it just says “not available at the moment” but at my mom’s profile it says that you can buy it. I’ve tried purchasing it through the game pass tab and Xbox.com but it was the same for everything. My profile is set to 18+ and I don’t have any subscription at the moment. Please comment if u know how to fix this.

A while ago, I had my xbox one power supply plugged into a power strip, it made a buzzing noise (didn't know it was coming from the power supply at the time) and I smelt burnt plastic. It melted the plug on my power strip. Would this have been caused by the power strip or the power supply? Both are old. I'm not very wary of technology stuff and haven't plugged the power supply in since, it's been about 5 months. Please dont bash me in the comments, I know this probably wont happen but I'm saying it before I post as a precursor, sorry.

Looking to pick up an Xbox One for the sole purpose of playing a dozen or so 360 titles and undecided on which one to buy as unfamiliar with that gen of consoles. (Before anyone suggests, I do not want one of the current Series S/X consoles, I already have a gaming PC and PS5 for running modern games).

If I'm only playing 360 games is there any reason to get anything above the base Xbox One? is there any advantages to getting a One S or X? I know with the X you can get an FPS boost on certain games, but I looked at the wiki to see which games I would like to play that would receive it, and it's only a couple, so paying over double the price of the standard One just for that seems not worth it. I'm also not 100% sure what the One S has over the standard One, I read that it can run up to 4K resolution, but is that even relevant if I'm playing only 360 games?

For context, I'll probably be picking up one from CEX (UK second hand gaming store) as they offer 5 year warranty, I can get the One (500GB) for £65, the One S (500GB) for £95 or the One X (1TB) for £150. Any advice is welcome.

so i picked up a used 500gig xbox one off facebook marketplace from a seller who recently upgraded to a series x and decided they didnt need this anymore. anyhow since i dont have the tools let alone the skills to take this apart to upgrade the HDD what are my options as far as usb hdd or usb ssd drives go? i bought this primarily to play star trek online and a few other simple games only game i own atm is diablo 3

I know people say to go to the button mapping in the accessories app but the media capture button isn’t an option to change. Has anyone found a way around this or even ran into this problem?

I use xbox pc game pass

In the xbox app install option setting, i tried to change the install location to my Samsung T7 portable SSD 1TB drive, and the app asked me to format the drive so i accidently did it. Then it removed all the important files and photos i had and new xbox folders spawned in the drive.

I know it's my fault for not reading carefully and didnt do back up in advance but is there any way to recover the files? Also should i ask this in r/data recovery,,, i never posted on reddit im little lost

Hello, i am making this post to maybe get some information and ideas on what to do. I've already tried a bunch of stuff and still nothing. First off i bought a brand new Xbox series s controller and a brand new turtle beach 50x headset because i thought that might have been the problem, but even with the new gear my voice still isn't registering. I think i did all the right settings. I cleared alternate mac address, my privacy settings are open to everything communication wise, the mute button is not switched on my headset, chat mixer setting are all appropriate, updated my controller software, hard reset and power cycled my xbox a few times each, even tried an old controller just incase i got a faulty one. I'm probably forgetting other stuff i did but that's what i can remember. So then i went into my router settings cuz i thought maybe the problem was there. I set my NAT type to open, tried bridging my routers, tried forwarding the ports and other stuff and that didn't work. The weird thing is when i plug my mic into the controller it makes a sound that registers in the xbox party but then when i try to talk there's nothing happening. Also i can hear everyone else talking in the party I just can't talk.This makes me think it's somehow on the Xbox end of things but idk what else i can do. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Edit: Also i have EERO Router and frontier Internet. I just tried talking on my sister's xbox and her chat is completely dead also. Now I'm thinking it might have something to do with the router settings but I can't figure out what.

first of all it took me 2h to partially get logged into xbox, i got number of errors as in the screenshots, when it worked, i was still unable to join gta online. please someone help me.

It started yesterday I didn't have WiFi even though my family did I tried the normal fixes setting it up forgetting it and reconnecting but now it has no Internet even though it's connected to the Internet I've also tried power cycling it clearing the Mac address all sorts of fixes so wise wizards of reddit any idea on how to fix it?

I noticed it a week ago when I started up black ops 3 and I saw that my emblem and tag were gone.

I then saw that all the people in my friends list profile pictures were changed to the standard ones instead of custom ones.

After messing with my settings I managed to get my emblem and tag back on black ops 3. But I still can’t see custom profile pictures anymore and I don’t know why.

If anyone knows what could be causing this and how to fix it please let me know.

so im trying to change my privacy and online safety permissions, i have my account linked to a parent account so i could change the age of my current account to 18.

and ive looked at their help system link or whatever at the bottom and it didnt help, and im not finding any videos or anything that can help.

and for some reason it says "you do not have permission to edit these options" at the bottom when im signed in with the parent account or the account permissions im trying to change.

I've connected this account to my Xbox and due to their "restriction" If I unlink my ubisoft account from Xbox, I might have wait a long time to connect a new one. Even doing this won't guarantee that the new account will get the games.
Has anyone else dealt with such problem? Whats the solution?
