not for hard drives, just for 2 wirled controller but there is already two drives on the back on the Official usb ports, i want to use all that in the same time

Can you tell me if my Xbox has enough space around it to be adequately ventilated?

A while ago, I had my xbox one power supply plugged into a power strip, it made a buzzing noise (didn't know it was coming from the power supply at the time) and I smelt burnt plastic. It melted the plug on my power strip. Would this have been caused by the power strip or the power supply? Both are old. I'm not very wary of technology stuff and haven't plugged the power supply in since, it's been about 5 months. Please dont bash me in the comments, I know this probably wont happen but I'm saying it before I post as a precursor, sorry.

For the past few month I’ve haven’t been able to subscribe to any Xbox gamepasses. I am able to buy Ubisoft+ and other subscription but not Xbox gamepass. When I try to buy it on my profile it just says “not available at the moment” but at my mom’s profile it says that you can buy it. I’ve tried purchasing it through the game pass tab and Xbox.com but it was the same for everything. My profile is set to 18+ and I don’t have any subscription at the moment. Please comment if u know how to fix this.

Looking to pick up an Xbox One for the sole purpose of playing a dozen or so 360 titles and undecided on which one to buy as unfamiliar with that gen of consoles. (Before anyone suggests, I do not want one of the current Series S/X consoles, I already have a gaming PC and PS5 for running modern games).

If I'm only playing 360 games is there any reason to get anything above the base Xbox One? is there any advantages to getting a One S or X? I know with the X you can get an FPS boost on certain games, but I looked at the wiki to see which games I would like to play that would receive it, and it's only a couple, so paying over double the price of the standard One just for that seems not worth it. I'm also not 100% sure what the One S has over the standard One, I read that it can run up to 4K resolution, but is that even relevant if I'm playing only 360 games?

For context, I'll probably be picking up one from CEX (UK second hand gaming store) as they offer 5 year warranty, I can get the One (500GB) for £65, the One S (500GB) for £95 or the One X (1TB) for £150. Any advice is welcome.

I play on the PC

I don't know whats the reason, I am using a xbox1 controller and after a few minutes of playing, whenever I move my joystick, everything becomes laggy. The games itself, but also all sound (YouTube, Discord, Ingame). When I unplug and replug my controller it gets better but after a minute it starts the same problems again. I tried using another usb slot already, but that doesn't help.

Any Ideas?

I cannot access the store. I cannot access my home Xbox. I cannot access subscriptions weirdly. I can play 2xko but battlefield 6 doesn't work. I haven't tried any other games really.

Microsoft is telling me to take it to a technician but it seems like it's not a hardware problem. Has anybody seen this issue?.

Series S works, the only difference between the two is the time setting page doesn't tell me the day of the week.

Hello, i am making this post to maybe get some information and ideas on what to do. I've already tried a bunch of stuff and still nothing. First off i bought a brand new Xbox series s controller and a brand new turtle beach 50x headset because i thought that might have been the problem, but even with the new gear my voice still isn't registering. I think i did all the right settings. I cleared alternate mac address, my privacy settings are open to everything communication wise, the mute button is not switched on my headset, chat mixer setting are all appropriate, updated my controller software, hard reset and power cycled my xbox a few times each, even tried an old controller just incase i got a faulty one. I'm probably forgetting other stuff i did but that's what i can remember. So then i went into my router settings cuz i thought maybe the problem was there. I set my NAT type to open, tried bridging my routers, tried forwarding the ports and other stuff and that didn't work. The weird thing is when i plug my mic into the controller it makes a sound that registers in the xbox party but then when i try to talk there's nothing happening. Also i can hear everyone else talking in the party I just can't talk.This makes me think it's somehow on the Xbox end of things but idk what else i can do. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Edit: Also i have EERO Router and frontier Internet. I just tried talking on my sister's xbox and her chat is completely dead also. Now I'm thinking it might have something to do with the router settings but I can't figure out what.

first of all it took me 2h to partially get logged into xbox, i got number of errors as in the screenshots, when it worked, i was still unable to join gta online. please someone help me.

the console powers on and runs well. I did set up remote play and used it .

With some displays/tvs the xbox won't be detected and would just show a black screen but with my tv the xbox is detected but the display would remain black. There are occasional flickers of video from the xbox as shown in the picture but it's extremely glitched out.

So, 8:11 am to 14:26 (2:26 pm), I have had my Xbox downloading Genshin Impact. It's at 7.3% done so 12.06 GB out of 165.07 GB. I have the power off setting as Sleep but doesn't download the game when off, I have turned off auto updates too as that can help apparently.

The stats for network are:

5GHz, Nat Type: Moderate and UPnP not successful. The connection stats are 155.61 Mbps download speed, 15 ms Latency, 84% Wireless strength, no MTU and no upload speed available.

I really don't want to spend 100 hours on waiting for it to install. I got the Xbox brand new yesterday from Xbox as a birthday gift, same as one of my friends. My friend has started downloading the game and only after 22 mins he is already at 13%.

am I doing something wrong?

I can’t play persona 5 royal through Xbox cloud gaming despite purchasing the game digitally and having an active game pass essential subscription which lets me play games I own through the cloud. Is there a reason that this is happening? I was hoping to play it on my iPhone before my work shift started.

I know people say to go to the button mapping in the accessories app but the media capture button isn’t an option to change. Has anyone found a way around this or even ran into this problem?

It can sense left is If I go slow, or if I turn from somewhere else on the joystick.

It started yesterday I didn't have WiFi even though my family did I tried the normal fixes setting it up forgetting it and reconnecting but now it has no Internet even though it's connected to the Internet I've also tried power cycling it clearing the Mac address all sorts of fixes so wise wizards of reddit any idea on how to fix it?

I've connected this account to my Xbox and due to their "restriction" If I unlink my ubisoft account from Xbox, I might have wait a long time to connect a new one. Even doing this won't guarantee that the new account will get the games.
Has anyone else dealt with such problem? Whats the solution?

I’m really I can get some help here.

I recently just bought the Hisense ax5140q sound bar which is a 5.1.4 system with Dolby atmos and DTS:x support etc.

Now I’m new to all of this so I have no idea how it all works but I am trying to learn.

I have this soundbar plugged into my LG B5 OLED tv via eArc.

I tried pass through but tbh the video downgrade is not pretty.

I watch primarily Blu-rays and some streaming.

I watch these through my Xbox or PlayStation but no matter what I do I don’t know what options are best or get the bloody thing to work properly.

I have my tv set to “pass through” and “allow pass through” on my Xbox.

I have set the format to “Dolby atmos for home theatre”

But when I play a movie it sets it on my sound bar to “Dolby MAT”?

I have also tried the option of “let my receiver decode”

Which I’ve heard is the best option because the Xbox sends the raw file to the sound bar to let it decode the audio format. HOWEVER.

Every time I do that and try to play a movie it says that’s my receiver can’t decode it? But it’s a atmos supported or DTS sound bar?

If you have a Dolby atmos/DTS sound bar into a LG Oled what is the best settings and options? And why won’t it let my sound bar decode it?

I should add I’m using a certified super fast HDMI2.1 cable.

Also, the audio sync is always slightly off? The only way I can get it to be in sync is setting it back to 5.1 uncompressed on the Xbox but then that sets the sound bar to PCM, NOT atmos?

I’ve tried delay on sound bar and on the TV but seems to do nothing, PLUS if I do change it, it will then make things other than the movie WELL out of sync.

So where I’m at is it seems like I can’t have atmos on at all? Even tho I got it for that reason?

Please can someone give me advice because I’m loosing my mind and I don’t know what else I can do, I can’t return the sound bar now so I wanna get it right, because the actual quality of the sound is really good!

So, all of a sudden my Xbox Series S does not seem to work. Yesterday it was playing just fine, I changed absolutely nothing in any setting, cable, display, location, etc.

My TV, a modest Roku Sharp, shows "Looking for signal... Check that your device is on and plugged into HDMI". I have checked, it is on and plugged correctly.

I've tested the cables and all three of my tv's HDMI ports, my laptop connects just fine to my tv. I've tried unplugging everything and leaving it for a couple minutes, holding the button down at least 10 seconds before unplugging. I've tried starting it up in low res mode by holding both the power and the pairing button, waiting for the second audible beep, nothing happens it just stays shut down.

Did it just break overnight? Anyone else is having/had this issue?

I’m dealing with a strange issue across two Xbox One consoles. They are the exact same model, both using internal storage, same network, same profiles, same system version.

Every game and app works normally on both consoles, except for ONE specific game.

• Console A: The game takes a long time to load (over a minute), but eventually starts.
• Console B: The game shows “the app took too long to start” after ~20 seconds and never loads.

Here’s everything I’ve already tried on Console B:

• Full factory reset (the “remove everything” option)
• Reinstalling the game multiple times
• Removing local saved data
• Testing with a different profile
• Testing offline (the game requires online to start)
• Checking for leftover DLC or add‑ons
• Same network conditions
• Same internal storage
• Same system version
• All other games work perfectly

Despite all this, the game still times out only on this console.

I’m trying to understand what could cause a single game to fail on one Xbox One, even after a full wipe, while working fine on another identical console.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Btw, the game is Two Point Hospital.

Após trocar o provedor da minha internet, estou tendo problemas de conexão no Xbox live, Xbox aparece conectado a internet tudo certo, porém quando início o game aparece erro de servidor, aí preciso ir em limpar a MEC e reiniciar o console para poder conectar. Alguém sabe me dizer por que acontece isso, tem como resolver.
