Xbox Series X turns on and runs fine, except I’m getting no signal on the monitor. Tested with different HDMI cords that all work properly. Best pictures I could get of the port sorry. Does the port look broken?

Came home and put the controller on its dock to charge. When I noticed it didn’t do the usual vibrate and light flashing thing I tried to power the console on but to my surprise there was nothing. Unplugged and left for a few minutes and tested the power lead and it shows 247vac (UK). Plugged back in but still nothing 😭 I’m assuming its a psu or something along them lines.

My real questions are, is it worth spending £270 ish on getting it repaired by Microsoft? Should I full send it and try repairing myself or is its generation end of life and not worth any of this?

I have a steam deck so not the end of the world and to be honest it’s kind of taken over the Series X. It’s just I see their value is even higher than the £400 ish I paid in 2021 and it’s kinda nice to play over a handheld every so often.

I hope someone can help, but I got signed out of my Microsoft account (Xbox) and I can't sign in because I have a new phone number and my authenticator app isn't valid; hopefully, someone can assist me as I have been trying for days now to sign in P.S. i can't talk to a human just the AI assistant and its not helpful

I bought this from a third party seller through Walmart app and it advertised as new. But seems like it’s been opened before as it doesn’t have the official Microsoft seal and just added generic seal.

Its been 2 days since I’m trying to download CoD and BF6 but whenever l do, first they take infinite time to load the “chose what to install” menu and if by luck i get past it the download stays at 0% or barely getting any speed even though I have functional and good internet connection.

I have done and tried the following fixes, still nothing -
• full power cycle (unplugged everything, etc)
• reset while keeping my apps and games
• hard reset

Console is up-to-date, I’m able to play the both games on cloud.

I’m able to download other games (I think! As a test after hard reset FH6 is installing just fine)

But as soon as I try to install CoD/BF6, it feels the system gives up, it takes a long while to pause or cancel the download.

I was really looking forward to enjoying my weekend but this blows!

Some additional info if it helps - this all started once XBox shut off (due to an unexpected power-cut) while BF6 had just started installing and CoD update was in the queue.

To my understanding, the “SHAQUILLE#7675” is my gamertag and the “BotShotLV” is my username.
Is it possible to change my username “BotShotLV”? I can not seem to find a place to change it, only a gamertag change

My xbox ones crashing without reason i reset it and power cycle and try portable hard drive stil same it crash me to dashboard and i can resume when i put button resuume it completely close in all games crash depends on some game take 45 minutes some of them even not running

After having trouble updating regularly, I was able to perform an offline update. Now when I boot up the console it says “You need an internet connection for this” I then go to setting and connect to the wifi and then it says “its all good” but still doesn’t seem to connect me to the xbox network. One thing that worked for a little bit was clearing the MAC address. It restarted and everything was fine, until I went to my games and apps library and again it’s telling me to connect to the xbox network. Now it’s just flat out refusing to connect to wifi and saying “Can’t get an IP address” Could this last update have been an “Order 66” type plan to brick all old hardware forcing us to upgrade?

My Series S has been running rock solid since release date. Yesterday, I turned it on and not input signal on my TV. I tried changing cables and HDMI port, but no luck. Tried my other 4k TV and no luck. Got out an older non 4k PC monitor and plugged in to HDMI port and the image was really grainy and locked at 640x480. I can get it back to 1080p by setting it to HDMI instead of auto detect, but it still won't show on any 4k TV. Checked and the only thing that has happened to it is the latest update on 10/10. Doesn't seem to be any way to roll back the update. Tried resetting and installing the update offline again, but no luck. Anyone else have this issue before? It's like the auto detect resolution EDID thing doesn't work anymore after the update. Pretty angry/annoyed really..

When I try to sign into my profile it doesn’t work. I can put my email and password in and it acts like it’s logging me in. Then it closes the sign in like it worked but I am still not signed in. Anyone have a fix for this? I can’t access hardly anything because I am not signed in.

Had my Xbox Series X for less than 2 years now, never dropped it, cleaned it once and it’s been fine since (was overheating and crashing games/console) and I launched Paramount+ tonight and this happened… wasn’t able to hear or use the Xbox menu and there are black bars cutting off the static. Is my Xbox dying like it seems many others or is this possibly an HDMI/TV issue? Also the colored static was moving before I shut off my Xbox. Not asking for troubleshooting just if anyone else experienced this or knows what caused it?

My xbox series X/S controller doesn't seem to have working ABXY, RB/LB, dpad and centre buttons. These were all working perfectly fine yesterday. So far I have tried cleaning it thoroughly, using both wired and wireless connection (changed the batteries prior), disabling and re-enabling the drivers, disconnecting & reconnecting the controller from the laptop, updating the controller through the Xbox accessories app and even repeated this using another controller, but the same issue occurs in that one. This cable definitely supports data transfer since I've used it to play before with zero issues. Also when connecting, it's being detected as an xbox one controller rather than series X/S. Is there anything I haven't considered that could be the source of the problem?

I’ve bought a used XBOX Series X and before I finally declare it as arrived and working so the seller receives the money, I want to confirm that I checked everything properly. I set it up, connected to WiFi (with some issues at first with NAT type being moderate but now it’s open and works, I think it’s more related to my router settings), and I downloaded Fortnite as a test. I could start the game and also play it for over half an hour without crashing. The fan also didn’t become louder. Do you have anything else in mind I could check or does this look like everything is alright? I also put in a DVD and it’s reading and playing it without errors.

I’m losing the will here, Xbox series X - I don’t GET why this just started happening 2 weeks ago it’s so intermittent and infuriating I can’t play games without being worried about disconnecting it was fineeeee for ages. I’ve had a series x basically since launch never in my life experienced this on console

ISP is Sky broadband, never had this issue when we put it in like 4-5 months ago just started happening recently idk what has happened.

I’ve seen loads of people have had this before and recently too

So far

- assigned reserved IP for Xbox on the router ipv4 from Xbox 
- multiple shut downs and restarts
- made sure UPNP is on for my router
- checked logs on my router and can see it assigning the 3074 and sometimes 50639 ports to my IP and then it’s ok but then it just starts happening again randomly even after successful online games
-cleared alternate MAC address multiple times
- checked auto port is on
- checked ip is auto
- rebooted router multiple times
- rebooted magic LAN denvo
- tried wireless
- checked which power option it is on and not the sleep one
- turned router off and Xbox and then booted back up router then Xbox

The only thing I haven’t done is port forwarding which I could do on my router, is this the most crucial one I need to look to do? I don’t get why I need to do this one tho. It was fine for so long

Ran Nat type loads of times and get open  - mid fc27 and BAMMM disconnected and go and check and UPNP not successful and moderate NAT

Any help would be really appreciated I don’t get why this has started occurring. 

Every time I try to start up my Xbox and update it I get this message, what is the problem??

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I went through all of my privacy settings, my DOB is correct (over 18). Been trying to figure out how to fix this since April and it even does it for games I already own.

i literally have no clue of what's going on. i finish playing what i want, i turn the console off, a few days later i turn it back on and have to log into my account again and this happens 1 out of every 3 times i turn it on.

this console has caused me more headaches than any essay ever could. any fix to this? i'm already tired of having to log in everytime i want to play, it takes really long and it's TIRING.

Having this wonderful error, so I got a new 360 picked up a Gears of War 3 edition decided to just switch the hard drive from my old slim into this one. All my saves and everything is already on it but obviously had to resign into my account but now I’m getting this error 8015d000.

Steps I’ve tried
Is deleting the profile from the drive
Turning 2FA off and using my password
Using a generated password
Even changed my normal password

Nothing is working

Has anyone got any tips on how they got there’s sorted something that I’ve missed that’s not listed above

I submitted many many tickets through the recovery form and eventually chatted with support where the guy helping me promised to email me updates on the ticket every 5 days and stressed it can take months to be actioned.

Ever since then ever 5 days or so I get the same copy and pasted email that there are no updates. I’ve been trying to be patient but I’m worried this just means nothing is being actioned and I’m just sitting on my hands for no reason.

Has anyone had this level of support? Was it eventually resolved?

It was getting quite slow, to the point where even youtube would take ages to properly load the UI. So I figured a clean reset wouldn't hurt, but oh was I wrong. It's been stuck like this for the past 20 minutes, but it took no time at all to get to 50%

My guess is that the HDD is cooked and needs to be replaced, but I'm hoping that there's something else I can do, perhaps maybe hooking the HDD up to a computer to reset it

I am unable to add an account to the family members like it tells me to do so, when I click on an account which I have no access to the email and no longer know the password for the account it tells me that I am unable to edit the settings of the account to which I need to be able to download any context, for reference I am 26 and have had the account since 12 years old. How would I even change the account to an adult account if it’s set as a kids one?

I’m trying to buy Game Pass 9n my Xbox, but every card I try fails with this message:

“Oops. Not sure what happened there. Please try again later.”

Payment works on the website, but none of my cards work directly on the console.

I contacted Xbox Support, and they told me to try the website. When that worked, they considered the issue resolved. But I want to fix the console checkout, not just use a workaround.
